I only saw it briefly, but when the Jets picked the Miami LB Vilma, it sounded like a lot of cheers from the Jets bullpen. I can't remember the last time Jets fans cheered for a Jets pick. Even Keyshawn received a smattering of boos mixed in with the applause.
This a decent pick for the green weenies. More than I can say for the other team that makes the great evil in the AFC East What is up w/ Buffalo picking Lee Evans? I know they need a complement to Moulds & Reed but IMO Jeknkins & Clayton would have been better. My Cable has been out since right after Detroit took Roy Williams. Thank goodness for the 'net.
You make a good point. In fact, with so many WRs in this draft, you could argue that the Bills could've traded down a few spots to get someone else (actually, they might have been able to trade down to pick Evans...I don't think he was projected above Clayton).
