Andre Miller, but they should also let Olowakandi leave.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "Dr. Funk":</div><div class="quote_post">Yeah, I'm sure Carmelo Anthony and Andre miller will definitly make the playoffs. not. Just like he did to LA, dont get to excited nugget fans.</div>
i kind of agree. everyone thinks adding magette and miller to the lineup would be great.. but the Clippers already had that, and look where they ended up. i dont think that has much to do with the players though, the organization is cursed.

Wow, 9 million plus per year is a helluva deal for Andre Miller. No one else would have offered him that much- and if they did the Nuggets should have let him go.

What's interesting to me is that Utah now (assuming the Clips don't match) now has the ability to make a run at Gilbert Arenas as well as a big man like Rasho- or even Michael Olowakandi.

Maybe Utah was blowing smoke about their interest in Miller all along.

why... the man had one bad season and everyone is so quick to deem him horrible... he did lead the L (or 2nd) in assists when he was with the Cavs... THE CAVS... imagine leading that team in asists... this man is capable of 18pts/10 asists

good point. Miller is a proven PG. Arenas only had one good season. for all we know, it coulda been a fluke

It's not a fluke. Arenas has been playing this way ever since he got the starting job during his rookie season.

purehoops: what you are saying about Millers possibilities with the Nuggets is exactly what people were saying when Miller joined the Clips. They were saying, "If he can get ten assists with the Cavs, think of the numbers he will get on the more talented Clippers." Well the Nuggets team he will go on won't have the same amount of talent as the Clips did. I'm not saying Miller won't do well in Denver because I do think he will do well, I'm just saying that that reasoning is a flawed.

it's hard to judge anyone by how they played with the Clippers. they'll manage to scew up no matter who's on their team

i think its a good move for denver, theyre sorta like cleveland in status, i think he'll do really good for them, especially assist wise. going to the clippers does seem to really hurt a lot of people's stats, not everyone, but a lot. and denver can still get gilbert to play shooting guard anyway if they want. they have no shooting guard right now who's worth playing, and it wouldnt really be like miller is pt, arenas is sg, i think they woudl bascially just play both positions each a lot of the time, with miller more pt and arenas more sg, but i think it would work out. and who wouldnt rather have arenas than the lazy injury prone underachiever olowakandi.

you have to remember the clippers were hit hard by injuries last season and the team never had a chance to gel. also the players didn't make a commitment to winning and playing 100% each game because they had a problem with the management not making a commitment to them and letting all the stars become free agents.

miller is a pure pointguard and will be a great leader for the young nuggets. the nuggets obviously like what they saw in miller, offering him 9M when there are still other options at the PG spot. he should get along great with the denver head coach and will be a good fit in their style of offense.

the clippers are not going to match the offer, because they are very high on kenyon dooling. this kid has a great attitude and has some great skills. they also like using jaric at pg and i'm sure they'll bring in an undrafted rookie as the 3rd option.

i dont know if theyre high on keyon dooling, but i would be pretty high on marko jaric who was doing really well at times last year but got hurt some himself which really cost him. but i think jaric is a lot better than dooling, who hasnt done anything in his entire career so far.

I think Mike Olowakandi is gonna be in a sign and trade deal with the Grizzlies I think. I know he's supposedly in a sign and trade, just can't remember which team, but, like I said, I think it was the Grizzlies.

Does Andre Miller care if he wins another basketball game in his career, because it doesn't look like it.
