    Antoine trade isn't dead yet

July 15 New York Daily News: "The proposed trade that would have brought Antoine Walker to New York would have included Mike Sweetney, the Knicks' first-round draft pick."

I think this deal has no choice but to get done, the only problem is when Walker goes to the Knicks whose going to pass the ball because they have Ward, Spreewell, Houston, and if you add Walker who will feed them the ball because they all want to score?

if they got walker they would have to move Spree because there needs to be enough shots for Walker and Houston

this deal messes everything up, i wanna rebuild walker is not the way to got we have the future in lampe i wounld be in favor of trading sweetney for a YOUNG center, right now i feel we should trade spree for andy one and a 1st rd draft pick and as i said 100 million times(pun intended) we should trade houston to the rockets for cat griffin and rice and a 1st rounder

If New York could get that much for Alan Houston they should leap at the chance.

I just can't imagine that Houston would trade a blossoming, young talent, soon to be expired contract and a 1st rounder for the aging, most overpaid player in the league. Especially given that Houston is not much of an upgrade over Cuttino Mobely.

Layden has wanted Keith Van Horn, Raef Lafrentz and Antoine Walker. Is he looking to shoot the lights out of the Garden? Because that is all those players do. Shoot the ball.
