I guess there is some talk floating around regarding a Z/Brown to Phoenix for Marion/Jahidi White deal. I really like Marions' game and energy, and he is also a good 3 point shooter. I've always been pretty adamant in my belief that Z does not have a future with the Cavs past next year and that Cleveland isn't really a hot spot for free agents, so we should deal Z while he still has high value.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting King James:</div><div class="quote_post">Oh how the times will change because of #23</div> You really believe that? I know you know better. A lot of free agents coming up are elite (Kenyone, Kobe, Tmac, Sheed), and aren't going to want to play second fiddle to a kid (Sheed would be the exception to that mentality). You might be able to pick up some good role players, but the stars aren't running over each other to play with Lebron.
Of course I believe it, I said it did I not? Compair the Cavs teams of the last 4 years to this one and tell me it is not more attractive. I should not have to explain myself, and nor did I say we would sign an elite player, way to take what I said to the track meet.

Fine, then give some examples of upcoming free agents that would provide the Cavs with outside shooting (since that is what you believe they need).
Word has it Dennis Scott has shed 28 lbs. and wants to make a comeback, I would like to give him a look to see if he still has that amazing outside touch.
Until the Cavs make the playoffs, I don't see many free agents knocking on our door. Things are starting to change, but they haven't turned completely around yet.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting King James:</div><div class="quote_post">Already started before the season chief, the last decade we could not sign anybody.</div> Signing a couple of bench players is nothing to get too excited about. (I wish we could go back in time and not sign Newble .) The Cavs aren't to the point yet where big time free agents (Nash, QRich, etc.) are going to be looking seriously at coming here.
IF we could get R. Wallace of S.A. Rahim that would be awsome, but like I said thats a pretty big IF.

You really believe that he wants to play in Cleveland specifically? Maybe he just wants to play period. When players are making a comeback they are usually willing to play for any team. The dude probably wouldn't even mind playing in ATL. This guy is too old to help you team that much, and there are too many "ifs" with him. Besides, he is not actually a free agent, and that is what you were arguing. Hell, why don't you throw a contract in Steve Kerr's direction?
^Or maybe there was just too much validity for you to comprehend, and think of a response to. <font size="1">I'm not violating any guidelines. So why don't you be the man that you so often claim to be, and respond, rather than deleting my posts as a way of avoiding the fact that you are getting owned?</font>
you guys think D3 got anything left in the tank? Even before he was traded from Orlando he seemed to be on a downhill slide....be cool tho' if he could make it back....
We don't need anything else from a cheap FA, just someone that can shoot it from deep that will spread the floor. I would take Rice and Scott over The Wizard.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting franchise3:</div><div class="quote_post">I'd take Walt or Rice IMO. How about giving Bremer more of a chance. He can knock down some shots.</div> No he can't, he sucks, you don't go from our potential 6th man to the 12th man on the bench for no reason.
