<div class="quote_poster">Quoting :</div><div class="quote_post">Unquestionably, the Kings want to make sure All-Star power forward Chris Webber is ready to return to action.
However, after guard Bobby Jackson assessed Webber's first full-court scrimmage with the team Monday, one had the feeling the Kings might have found out more than they wanted faster than they needed.

"Webb ran full-court (Monday), and he looked good," Jackson said of Webber, who injured his left knee May 8 and had arthroscopic surgery June 10. "But that Gerald Wallace scared me to death trying to block Webb's shot and knocking him down."

"It had been so long since I'd been on the court," Webber said. "(Guard) Anthony Peeler made the comment that I was smiling the whole day, so I guess I was. All I kept thinking about is I hadn't been on the floor in so long, so it felt good. It's been since (May) I've been on the floor like that."</div>

That's great news. The sooner Webber can get back on the floor and shake the rust, the better.

yes!!! it's gettin close to C. Webb time. he will be rusty at first but always there for u when it counts. I can't wait. He brings that "nasty" presence to the kings game.

This is such heart warming news, Webber is one of the most hard working and talented players I've ever seen. He is the pure definition of heart, effort, courage and strength. It'll be good to have someone with such power back on the court, Ben Wallace is another example of fine sportsmanship and an athlete. Hurry Webber, come back, the Kings want you back on the court! Good luck on recovery!
