I believe the Big 10 has the most ranked teams in the top 25 this year, at least to start the season. We'll see if it lasts! Whoever wins the Big Ten will have a legit shot at the national title with tremendous help from strength of schedule.

I just hope the Badgers play well this year. I'd love to upset Ohio State and/or Iowa this year. I don't think we play Michigan.

I can't remember who Wisconsin beatl ast week but they play Fresno St who has given them fits in the past. Further, Fresno destroyed Washington.

The Big 10 is IMO the 2nd best Football conference in the country behind the SEC. Of course, fans of the Big 12 & PAC 10 might have something to say. Purdue could be the sleeper in the Big 10.

ACC is premier conference fillowed by SEC, Big 12, Big 10, Pac 10 and Big east. Big 10 has no truly dominant team IMO, i think west virginia is better than any team in that conference

Whatever happens, I can count on the Pac-Ten and Big-West never getting any credit. Then again, I guess you have to win the "Big One" to earn that.

ACC has Miami, Fla St, NC St, & Maybe Virgina. SEC has Georgia, LSU, Tennessee, Auburn, & Florida. Need I say more?

Michigan has been the only consistent program in the Big 10 for as long as I can recall. No way WV could beat Minnesota or Purdue who are currently 2nd tier schools in the Big 10.

Va Tech better than UT? Did you get a concussuion during the hurricane. VT has been good for what 10 yrs.

Auburn is better than Maryland and Arkansas easily outclasses NC St.

Bottom line; Miami & FSU are the only guaranteed powers in the new ACC.

Chip; Its the Mtn West. Colorado State is the perennial power despite what all the BYU fans say. Utah & San Diego St will be good for many years to come.

Oops, my bad. As least I wasn't so caught up in the past that I said Pac-8. [IMG]

I'm not a huge college football fan, but I've got to agree with BB&G here. The SEC is the best conference.
