What players do you guys think will end up on the bobcats roster?????????? Heres my prediction: STARTERS PG-Flip Murray SG-Kareem Rush SF-Darius Miles PF-Stromile Swift C-Antonio Mcdyess BENCH Toni Kukoc Rodney White Jumaine Jones Rafer Alston Juan Dixon Other(to complete roster) Shammond Williams Jerome Moiso Erron Maxey (NBDL) Ansu Sesay Marquis Daniels i think that will be the roster closest to the one they'll have.
PG- Jay Williams SG- Draft Pick n?4 ou V?t?ran SF- Rodney White PF- Stromile Swift .C- Draft Pick n?4 ou V?t?ran 6th- Dermarr Johnson 7th- Lenny Cooke 8th- V?t?ran 9th- V?t?ran 10th- V?t?ran
PG- Jay Williams SG- Draft Pick n?4 or Veteran SF- Rodney White PF- Stromile Swift .C- Draft Pick n?4 or Veteran 6th- Dermarr Johnson 7th- Lenny Cooke 8th- Veteran 9th- Veteran 10th- Veteran
Flip murray and Dyess are free agents at the end of the season... And if your talkin about Jay Williams from the Windy City i dont think so. They might be able to trade for Jason Williams (Grizzlies).
Washington will nedd Juan Dixon this and next year, so I don't think he will be part of the roster, unless if the Bobcats make a trade that the Wizards are intrested.

Didn't you hear in the Bulls forum? Maybe they can get Danny Ferry or is he retired?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Ming637:</div><div class="quote_post">The Bulls bought out Jay Williams. Didn't you hear in the Bulls forum? Maybe they can get Danny Ferry or is he retired?</div> I think he works for the coaching staff at San Antonio.

I heard D Miles was a restricted free agent this summer also, so if he's leaving Portland it will be by free agency, if they don't want to protect him they probably won't want to match any contracts he will get.
Starters c - Chris Mihm pf - Marcus Fizer sf - James Posey sg - Ron Mercer pg - Travis Best bench Samaki Walker Chucky Atkins Gerald Wallace Austin Croshere Ansu Sesay Aleksander Pavlovic Robert Traylor
Tony Delk Shandon Anderson Ron Mercer Samaki Walker Draft pick #4 (ex. Kosta Perovic, 7'2'' Servian) Elden Campell Howars Eisley Bob Sura Zelico Rebraca Antony Peeler Antonio McDyess (?) e.o...

Apart from that, your roster looks very realistic. Bobcats would love to get their hands on AD and his minimal contract too, but his level of play and the uncertainty over Barry's future almost ensures he will be protected.
I think they should first get a franchise player, And I dont think dyess is the one he's not been in his level since two years or so. that's in my point of view they should first get a big free agent, and wait for the No.4 to develop.
Well I can't predict their roster, but the expansion draft could look something like this... C Jake Tsakalidis (Grizziles) C Francisco Elson (Nuggets) C Curtis Borchardt (Jazz) F/C Predrag Drobnajak (Clippers) F Danny Fortson (Mavs) F Othello Harrington (Knicks) F Gerald Wallace (Kings) F Luke Walton (Lakers) F Michael Stewert (Celtics) F Corie Blunt (Bulls) G Damon Stoudamire (Blazers) G Anthony Johnson (Pacers) G Erick Strickland (Bucks) G Chucky Atkins (Pistons) G Courtney Alexander (Hornets) G Charlie Ward (Spurs) G Steve Blake (Wizards) Those are guys I believe will be unprotected, and that the Bobcats WOULD choose for their own team, but let's face it this draft is more-so OTHER teams to work out deals... the Bobcats can take a player a team wants, trade him to that team for other players, plus they can be bribed with draft picks and cash to take or NOT take a player. So who knows what's going to happen, these are a handful of players I think will be available and Charlotte would take. They want young, small contract talent, and would prefer their contact run out in 2 years when they have a full salary cap!
yeah they can do so many things...I mean 29 players to choose from plus the draft pick? think how many trades there will be...They will probably get this Russian guy in the draft...and if Orlando dont protect Shammond Williams they might as well get him he is so good...and he doesn't get much minutes...same with Steven Hunter...but they can only pick one from each team..Darius Miles will be a free agent aswell..who knows where he will end..lol only thing I can predict is a hell lot of trades for next season between everybody.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TMac_OwNz:</div><div class="quote_post">yeah they can do so many things...I mean 29 players to choose from plus the draft pick?</div> There are going to be more than 29 players to choose from... they are allowed at max to CHOOSE 29 players (1 per team) but teams like New York with 14 players under contract can only protect 8, leaving 6 in the expansion pool... so there are going to be more than 29 to pick out of. If a team has less than 8 players on their roster this summer (Miami who has 5) they MUST leave 1 player unprotected, Miami will leave either Jones or Grant seeing as they make $14+ million each. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting TMac_OwNz:</div><div class="quote_post">and if Orlando dont protect Shammond Williams they might as well get him he is so good...and he doesn't get much minutes...same with Steven Hunter...</div> Shammond Williams is an unretricted free agent, he can't be choosen by the Bobcats. Same for Hunter I think (maybe he's RFA, not sure) I think the Magic will leave Grant Hill and Declercq unrprotected. The Bobcats may want to pick Declercq, he's a center, he's cheap, and his contract runs out in 2 years (exactly what the Bobcats want).
Just for the record guys, the Bobcats can't trade their First Round pick because they're an expansion team, they have to draft a player with the pick, not trade it.
