    Good stuff CBBI.

I'm looking forward to this new "season" of discussion.

Can the balls roll our way?

Anyone else know college kids well?

I want to pick a handful of players and talk about how they would fit here. We can talk about which Cavs should be on the hot seat for trades as well.

I want to do this really nice, the best team forum preview here (when do I not want to be the best?)

I'll take a step back KJ here. My knowledge on college hoops is limited to maybe watching 1 game every week or so. I know about the main ballers, but the guys from the 'smaller' colleges go under my radar.

At the risk of sounding obvious, I think Dajuan Wagner is our most tradeable asset. I think that's why he's trying to learn the PG position, so he can have even more value to other teams, although I think he'll find a home on some team playing SG. Could possibly be involved in a draft day trade to move up, all depending on our position after the lottery, imo.

Hows this draft thread coming along?

I'm a little out of the loop with College hoops, so I cannot wait till I get some opinions of this next crop.

Raymond Felton, they won't get him but he would be a great pick-up for the Cavs..considerin McInnis is 30 and his prime years are fewer rather than more...

I'll be more than happy to do an exstensive draft preview for the Cavs. The 3 position needs I see are at Center, Small Forward or Shooting Guard (depending on their plans for LeBron James), & Point Guard. The type of skills the Cavs need to add are outsider shooters at the wing and a Point Guard who can hit the open shots consistently and defend smaller guards. They will likely lose Eric Williams to free agency, so they will be in need of another defensive swing player. The perfect player for them would be a Bruce Bowen type at the SF spot. A player who is a tenacious defender to free up LeBron from guarding an opponent's 1st or 2nd scoring option, but also has the ability to hit from behind the arc and the 16 foot shots. As a Cleveland fan you have to be weary of Paxson's track history of lottery picks. LeBron James was a no-brainer, but besides LeBron, the draft has been a disaster for the Cavs.

    Draft Busts
    ------------
Dajuan Wagner (over Amare, Nene, & Caron Butler)
DeSagana Diop (over Tony Parker, Richard Jefferson, & Zach Randolph)
Trajan Langdon (over Corey Maggette, Andrei Kirilenko, & Ron Artest)
Chris Mihm (over Desmond Mason, Quentin Richardson, & Jamaal Magloire)

It seems like the Cavs are seriously looking at using their #1 pick as part of a trade. There still could be some decent talent available if we stay at 10.

Right now my top 3 who could be there at #10 would be Ben Gordon, Devin Harris and Josh Childress. All would fill needs but there's also a chance all could be gone too.

There's always the group of European 7 footers who could be available. Don't know much about any of them. They'd all take 2-3 years to develop too.

The last time i check nbadraft.net, the cavs will draft luke jackson with their 10th pick. I like Luke, i watch couple Oregon game, he is sweet, he can pass, shot threes, steal, block. A very complete player. Plus i read couple article about how Luke was suprising everybody because he is not that slow and he is pretty atheltic too.
