If Peja is still averaging over 25+ points per game and the Kings are top of the western conference at the end of the season, he may have a case for MVP.

Well when Cwebb returns, his offensive # are going to drop due to less shots, so come second half of the season he will more than llike start to drop out of the mvp talk. And his defense is kinda suspect for an mvp canidate. KG has played at such a high level on both ends of the court since the start of the season, its hard to see how he wont win the award. And Tim is really starting to take his game to another level & the spurs have been scoring more points lately, so you know they are going to win their share of games in the second half. So he going to have a good chance at the three peat for the award. I just to see how an offensive player will be able to beat out 2 players who change the game on both ends of the court. And as the Lakers get healthy in the second half look for shaq to kill the league. So he will more than likely be in the race by the end of the season.

    what in the world?

best 3 and 2 point percentage? do you know what you're saying?

best team in the league? have we forgot about indiana? they do have the best record.

how about we come up with some accurate statistics instead of just talking about absolutely nothing?

he's not top 5 in three point percentage.
he's not top 5 in fg percentage.

    sheesh..

Peja is playing great and has really stepped up without Webber...but he just doesnt have those all around numbers KG does.

Duncan is playing great as expected. But the guy has won it the past 2 seasons already.

Im not a KG fan-boy or anything...but at this point he IS the league MVP handsdown.

Okay, I'm a die-hard Kings fan. Peja is one of my favorite players. Yet, I would have to admit, KG is MVP thus far.

But hey, who knows, Peja MIIGHT out perform KG in the second half... mmm... alright, unlikely... but hey, us Kings fans can hope. Can't we?

At this current point in time Peja is a legitimate MVP candidate. KG is the favourite, but at the moment he's in no way guaranteed. Whether it stays the same is a different matter altogether, but currently he's in with a shot.

ewww, KG, the favorite? although, i dont entirely like Peja, i would rather have him win it than KG.. they both deserve it, or no... peja deserves it more. he's carrying the team... KG has cassell and sprewell now.. oh yeah he has hoiberg too... ha! maybe he deserves something for dealing with fred.

if there were no such thing as kevin garnett, stojakovic would win it, he will have to put on an amazing second half and kg the opposite, which is very unlikely, kevin garnett might as well have MVP stamped on his forehead.

Peja has as much a shot at MVP as Baron, Pierce, TMac & AI - outside. If it aint KG (he has to break both legs twice in one week), then its Duncan.

I'm sorry but i have to dissagree KG, AI, T-Mac all have a much better chance at MVP.
