Which Canadian baller in the nba is the best. The two most obvious choices are Steve Nash and Jamaal Magloire. Last season i'm sure Steve Nash would have been a lock, but this year Magloire is playing great, and put up great numbers in the All star game, where Steve Nash didn't even make an apperance. Nash isnt having quite as good of a season IMO. So who is the best basketball player born in Canada, in the NBA this season?

Jamaal Magloire is canadian? Learned something new today, I'll take Nash any day though.

Steve Nash no question. He isn't really having a bad season either. He has 1 more assist per game and his scoring is only down 3 points and that is because of the added talent. He is still one of the best free throw shooters in the league and is deadly shooting the ball.

Jamaal Magloire is having a good season, and I didn't know he was Canadian but I still go with Nash.

what are you talking about nash isnt having a great season? hes having an awesome season. his ppg has gone down since they have toine and tawn now.

magloire is dope, but nash is the driving force of the mighty mavs offense. they lose without him.

Nash, by far. The mavs are nothing without him. He keeps that offense together.

Well, if you measure success by championship rings, Mr. Vanessa Williams has 3 of them.....

But indiviually, the player has to be Nash..no doubt (i'm only aware of 3 canadian NBA players anyway)

Looks like Carter fans haven't seen or come in this thread yet. I myself think he's one of the better ones, but not the best. I do love his smart, intelligent and now cautious play though.

It'll probably be Magloire in the near future but as of right now and for awhile, it'll be Nash. He just does everything so well, he's the go to player as well as the player who makes the shots for others.

Yep sorry, my mistake. I always associated most Americans and Canadians as the same, seeing as the game started there. Is there an actual way to tell whether one is one?

Steve Nash.. Without a doubt... He's the leader of the team and scoring option n? 2... Magloire's pretty good too but isn't close to be the leader of the Hornets and is only scoring option n?4...

It's barely Magloire. He made it into the All Star game with good consistent play. Nash is a good player but I think there are many players who could put up his numbers in the Dallas offense.

Besides, Nash was born in South Africa and went to school at Santa Clara. I have never figured out the whole Canadian thing unless he was raised by wolves in North West Saskatchewan or something.

It's aint just about the numbers brah... it's about how he runs the whole team. He helps the team run an uptempo offense and he gets everybody open shots.

So the question is really who is better, Nash or Magliore? Nash is better because of his outstanding offensive skills which can be matched by few players in the NBA.

Its got to be Nash. Magliore hasn't really done anything special this year, he just happens to be one of only a few above average centers in the East.

Todd MacCulloch is the only other Candian currently in the NBA aside from Nash, Magloire, and Fox.

I think it's Nash.He has great skills and is doing a great job running the Mavs Offense.
He's Ppg is down this year because of all the All-stars in the team but is still having great stats but he is giving 8.2 apg.Thats a career-high.

But Jamaal is also a great player but its Nash.
