Indiana Pacers at Los Angeles Clippers 10:30pm

Previous: The Pacers have won 18 of the last 20 meetings with the Clippers, including a 91-78 triumph on November 19. Al Harrington collected 22 points and nine rebounds as Indiana held a 44-30 edge in points in the paint despite O'Neal sitting out with right knee tendinitis.

O'Neal is averaging 14.2 points and 10.2 rebounds in six career games with Indiana against Los Angeles

    Key Matchup:

    Jermaine O'Neal----Elton Brand
    20.3PPG-----------20.7PPG
    10.1RPG-----------11.3RPG
    2.9BPG------------2.33BPG

Jermaine and Brand are undoubtledy their team leaders..Who control a lot of what goes on in the game..Jermaine and brand are both all star players..Who both attack the basket and garb rebounds..Jermaine is an outstanding shot blocker..As is brand..Brand standing just 6'7 in height..Has a knack for punching shots and is a fierce rebounder and defender..It will be an intresting matchup between these two players!

Game Summary: Both teams are aggressive teams and both teams will be looking to improve their records...They key points for indiana to win this game..Will be to keep the clippers of the glass..Prevent second and third chacne put backs will usually is by elton brand..Secondly the pacers will have to play their tough style of defense and keep it physical and intense..To stop corey maggete or quentin richardson gettng hot...The pacers will have to go reckless on the boards..As in previous games..The pacers tend to get behind on teams that rebound well...Ron Artest..Who has just returned from a thumb surgery will be a key player in helping the pacers to a win..Expect some big contributions from ron artest..Especially on the defensive end...The pacers are consistent on the road..Standing 20-10...while the clippers are standing 17-12 at home..Which needs to be improved in order for them to be a consistent team...It will be a very exciting mathcup..Look for some explosive plays..Pacers hopefully can come away with this win and improve their record to 45-16!
