that will be sweet...back to back 1st pick like what happen to Orlando long time ago with Shaq and Chirst Webber. I think the Raptors will trade some body for the 1st pick to some big body. if they do that , i think they will draft Dwaght Howard, as much i like Okafort, he is a similar (maybe better) player to Bosh they have similar height too and similar blocking skills. Howard can give the low post player they need.

Dachen you gotta stop dreaming clevelands record is 33-47 with 2 games left in the season and Orlandos is 19-61 with 2 games left it aint happening. Cleveland already has enough young talent but the havent utilized it yet. Dajuan Wagner 6th pick, LeBron James 1st pick, DeSagana Diop 8th pick, Carlos Boozer 2nd rounder, Kedrick Brown 11th pick.

They don't even have the lottery placings yet so those projections are totally useless.

That's not the first time I've heard about that. But why, all the years before every team which was not making the playoffs was in the lottery, and so why should it be different this year, except that the new franchise, the Bobcats, have the forth pick guaranteed everything is like last year. Or ff you know it for sure, please provide us with an official link or something similar.

Anyway it is like it was, just take a look on http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/index >> features >> mock draft + lottery. There you can see that Orlando has a 25% chance of getting the first pick while Utah only have a .5% chance of getting it, but still they have it and therefore there isn't done any placing yet. That comes in the lottery, the same procedure as every year.

What kind of qustion is that? the cavs wont get first because of their record thats like saying "will the pistons get number 2 again this year"

No, the draft is done by a lottery. Each team gets a certain number of ping pong balls with the worst team getting the most. While each team with the worst record after that gets a slightly lower number of ping pong balls. This year because Charlotte is an expansion franchise they automatically get the 4th pick. That is the only pick at this point that is locked in place.

Where do you get your info from??

What are you talking about? Well the Piston thing is something completely different. And he made a point why he think it could be. Can you remember Orlando in 1993, just after a .5 season they had the lowest chance of getting the first pick and guess what, they got it. They had a chance of 1.5%.

But just after that the NBA changed the lottery system slightly. Nowadays the team with the best record in the lottery has only a chance of .5% to get the first pick.

And another point, in 2002 Houston had an 8.9% chance of receiving the first pick. Cleveland may have only a 2.something% chance (still better than Orlando's back in 1993) at the moment but still they have this chance. And your comparison with Detroit? Well they don't have a chance at all...

    EDIT:

    I would guess www.nbadraft.net:

Detroit has no chance while Cleveland has a chance. How can you compare that?
