I dont agree with a lot of the picks though heres the link, http://www.nbadraft.net/index.asp *1. Orlando Emeka Okafor 6-9 252 PF UConn Jr. *2. *Chicago Dwight Howard 6-10 240 PF Atlanta, GA HSSr. *3. *Washington Shaun Livingston 6-7 175 PG Peoria, IL HSSr. 4. *Charlotte Andris Biedrins 6-11 240 PF/C (Latvia) 1986 5. *LA Clippers Josh Smith 6-8 220 SF Smyrna, GA HSSr. Top Five supposedly^

Do not agree with Washington's pick, They will not take a 6-7 PG, they will take Jameer Nelson if they want a PG, but I think they are looking big. But they dont even have the number 3 pick loicked down
Kris Humphries and Hakim Warrick should definitely not be that low, especially Humphries and why would Washington take Livingston in the draft when they dont need a point gaurd they already got Arenas, Dixon, Hughes, and stack has played PG for them a few times. Charlotte doest want a center with no experience surely, Andris Biedrins only averaged 2.5ppg and 4.1rpg and he's in the Euro league and is 6'11".
Don't pay attention to that worthless site, all it does is introduce you to some new names that you may not have known. If Livingston enters the draft, IF, he probably won't be drafted that high, but he might, nba owners are whack. What happened to people drafting for good players to help soon, i mean the time it takes theses kids outta highschool to develope, minus lebron and amare, they might as well have gone to college. That was off topic, sorry.
Well I don't concider it useless but I NEVER take their rankings seriously until the day of the draft... and even then they are typically FAR OFF!! NBADraft.net doesn't take anything into concideration while randomly throwing names on their board (until the draft comes around and they do a mock draft) -- I think they use hype to determine where people land for now... at least it seems that way. Livingston's stock has actually been dropping from all reports I'm hearing, he may be headed to college because he's no longer a lock for the lottery. But yeah don't put too much stock into what NBADraft.net says quite yet, I mean they have Golden State taking a SG/SF which is retarded seeing as they have Richardson and Pietrus... take a screenie of it now and compare it to it days before the draft, that thing will change dramatically. It is a good reference though for you to look at the bios and whatnot to determine what YOU think will happen.
I disagree with a lot of that. Firstly, Emmet dropping all the way to the 59th pick, I don't like that at all. I think Dwight Howard actually goes first and, if not, I don't see him going to Chicago due to the fact they alreday have a ton of big men down there. They need a small forward. I could see them getting Igoudala or Livingston, because, yea, Livingstong won't be point at 6'7", to fill that hole. Next, I don't see Cleveland taking TWO point guards. If they get Nelson, they won't be getting Duhon, that would make absolutely no sense to me. Umm...what else, the Nets taking Gomes kinda bugs me, but, I suppose that it is nice to have a back up that could player either small forward or shooting guard. Yea, there's probably more, but, I'm done with my rant for now.
Charlote should not draft a internation player, come on, they are not Dallas, Especially when that guys is clearly very young(17 can he go to the draft) they cant draft a project player when they are a expension team, will the fans like to watch their first pick of the draft sitting on the bench like Darko??? I dont think so
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting kvh4fan:</div><div class="quote_post">Everytime I look at their list, Jameer keeps falling. Poor kid.</div> 'Tis what happens when you're below six feet tall. Still, I think he'll make a good pro.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Everytime I look at their list, Jameer keeps falling. Poor kid.</div> That's life. When you're only 6ft tall, there are going to be doubters, and frankly, I'm one of them. Regardless, they have him going to the Celtics with thier first pick, which is an absolutely assinine thought, as the Celtics need size, not a marginal PG prospect.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Supersonic:</div><div class="quote_post">'Tis what happens when you're below six feet tall. Still, I think he'll make a good pro.</div> Yeah he'll do better than TJ and Dixon, maybe a better Speedy.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Magic Johnson:</div><div class="quote_post">Yeah he'll do better than TJ and Dixon, maybe a better Speedy.</div> I think he'll be a better pro than Juan Dixon and probably Speedy Claxton, but don't you think you're a bit quick to judge TJ? Only played just over half a season, and to me looked like he has a long career ahead of him.

Sort of like how Okafor will be once he comes. I feel his lack of shot and size will cause him to be dominated by most, I mean Speedy has vert. His passing is great yes and he's damn fast, but I see other PG's provide more on most occasions.
Why are people so shocked to see Hakim Warrick so low? He doesnt have a position in the NBA. He doesnt have the skill or perimeter quickness to play SF. And he doesnt have the size or strenght to play the power. Also he doesnt have the back to the basket game to be effective as a power forward either. Right now all I see Warrick being on the NBA level is an athletic dunker. He is a decent shot blocker. But alot of Gm & Scouts wont draft him because of that. They will just figure that at 6-8 he is only a shot blocker on the college level. I like Warrick. He makes some exciting athletic plays, but to be a factor on the NBA level, he will have to put on at least 30 pounds. And get up to about 240. And develope some skilled moves. Not just ones that require him being athletic. But by looking at Warrick, he doest look like he can put on muscle/wieght easily. So that might scare GM away too because they cant draft him with the expectation that he might put wieght on in the future.
Henacy, do you feel he prefers the spectacular play over the simple? Much like Howard(Dwight) and Amare? I think that's a big loss on his part too.

Seriously though either a SF or a C is what Washington should be drafting. If you guys want a good draft site go here ----> http://www.draftcity.com/
Just curious of what you guys think of who they have at #17 right now - Rafael Araujo © from BYU. I go to BYU and am just curious what if anything you guys have heard about him outside of Utah.
