Utah have a lot of cap space this season, and they need big men. I'd like to see them go after Stromile Swift, and Mehmet Okur. Stromile Swift has a lot of potential, and Utah could be appeling as he'd be starting, not coming off the bench as he is in Memphis. Mehmet is much the same as swift, he's going to have Ben Wallace and possibly Rasheed Wallace starting ahead of him. Both their teams however are better than Utah this season, and they may choose a winning team over a starting spot.

Who do you think they should go after?

The main position the Jazz will have to address is Center. The Ostertag era is likely over, and the Jazz will need to find a player to anchor their defense. They have a lot of money, but they should be careful where they spend it. I think they should make a run for Erik Dampier, Adonal Foyle, or Stromile Swift to replace Ostertag. All of these centers are great shot blockers and are capable of running the floor. The Jazz also need another score on the floor. Getting Harpring back from injury will help, but the addition of a Jamal Crawford would be a nice upgrade for them. I'm not sure if he would buy into Jerry Sloan's style, and if he doesn't work out for Utah, he still holds a lot of trade value. Other free agents they might be able to get at bargins are Mo Peterson and Rodney White.

The Jazz really need to look in the post positions in the draft and free agencies. I want to see them go after Dampier and Swift. Okur is good but he is softer than charmin, so I don't know if we need a soft center, especially in the west. I think they also need to look in the FA is a shooter, I wish we could someway get Brent Barry or Manu Ginibolli. Brent Barry maybe alittle too old for the Jazz's rebuilding, but could help out along the way.

they need decent bigmen of course, Im hoping for swift or/and okur myself, this would leave Kirilenko and Harpring eating each other's minutes though (yeah i know harp can play the 2 but i think he is more effective at the 3) I hope they hold on to Giricek, he reminds me of Hornacek somehow, just needs a bit more consistency.
