LMAO.... <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Miami Brian Grant ($13), Eddie Jones ($13). Big changes like that will be so hard to adapt to.</div> If Shaq stays, Kobe is gone. And if I was the Lakers, I would take Kobe, but it will be very hard to trade Shaq. They won't get equal talent in return, and I don't think they will get a superstar in return either, just a bundle of descent role players. That's my guess.

This deal makes some sense. Word is, the Lakers like Dampier and, with Van Exel and Robinson in the last year of their deals, cap relief would be on the way. Pietrus showed promise and could team with Bryant to cause some serious problems for offenses on the perimeter. The Lakers do not want Shaq in the West, but the Warriors are not one of the West's elite. </div> If that trade went down, the Warriors may not be one of the elite but they would be as good as the Lakers, if not better. With a lineup of Shaq, Murphy, Dunleavy, Richardson and Claxton they'd probably be a better team in the west than the Lakers - atleast in the short run. That is reason enough to say that this trade is highly unlikely IMO.

I never realized that and I'm a Brewers fanatic.
I liked the Golden State deal and the Indiana one. The Indiana one, I'm afraid would never happen though. They wouldn't be trading a 25 year old for a 32 year old. Though it would likely make them the favorites to win the East and they would than be a contender overall for the title. Even with that, I don't see a swaping of O' Neals coming any day soon.
