They also mixed up the heights of Zaza and Pavlovic, they had Zaza at 6'7 and Sasha at 6'11 [IMG]

Tamar Slay
Theron Smith ???????? (Bell and Jones?)
Jeff Trepagnier
Gerald Wallace [IMG]
Jahidi White
Loren Woods

Why did they take so many PF's and C's, and why did they take Theron Smith over Bell and Jones, they don't have on PG in that list except for Bremer

I think he is but I wanted Bell or Gaines, and he's just unrestricted so is Bremer.
Richie Frahm if they pick him up later, and Jason Kapono can shoot.

Maurice Carter's 6'5", more of a SG. He's was a restricted FA though, so I bet it was a pick to get him off the books. It's also strange because Bremer, the sorta-pg, is also a restricted FA. And then, they didn't take Bell either (though, possibly because the Grizz gave them some cash to entice them not to). Are they going for a PG in the draft? Or maybe Nash?

I don't know what they're doing, Nash isn't going to go there, they can go after someone like Carlos Arroyo? Damon Jones is there but he'll likely want to go to a developed team.

Also is Jamal Sampson a restricted FA?

I watched Bobcat's Expansion Draft, and some of the players they chose are so crap. Lonny Baxter and Jahidi White? They have size and strength, but did Bickerstaff ever bother to see their GAME? I have heard of pretty much all the others, but I don't even know their game, which pretty much means they were horrible selections too, except for Gerald Wallace, Drobnjak, and Hunter. They're probably going to be the only players that have a significant production for the Bobcats. Wallace is going to be their star, and Howard will most likely form the 1-2 punch. He's also going to be a candidate for 2005's Most Improved Player, if not the Most Improved Player of the year. Overall, I think this expansion draft is the greatest of all-time. Why didn't they select any true point guard? They're not even going to select a PG in the NBA draft, and if they trade for a point guard, he's most likely going to be an underdog unknown point guard.

Bernie said they'll keep about 8 players
Predrag Drobnjak - F-C
Brandon Hunter - PF
Jason Kapono - SF
Zaza Pachulia - PF
Theron Smith - PF
Gerald Wallace - SF
Jahidi White - C
EDIT: Jamal Sampson or Brezec

Pavlovic is getting traded and I don't know if Jamal Sampson is restricted but if he wants to keep 8 guys he only has 8 or 9 that will be on the team anyways.

Theron isn't bad or anything, but they have so many PF's

Jamal Sampson wasn't a restricted FA. He's the age of a college senior and is probably good insurance, as a big guy. Also, for selecting White, the Bobcats got $3 million and a future first-round pick from Phoenix in compensation.

Also, Bickerstaff called Smith "the sleeper of this election." I've never seen him play, but that's pretty risky. I'm sure there's going to be a myriad of trades in the works.

No Smith isn't bad, he was good in college and would've been a first round pick if he wasn't injured.
But they already have a lot of PF's, Drobnjak, Hunter, Smith, Sampson, Pachulia and Brezec. Their draft pick is going to be a PF (Emeka or Dwight), they're likely looking to sign Marcus Fizer, and watch they'll take a C or PF in the second round too.

What are they thinking, he have Zero good player, bunch of crap, Lonny Baxter might be good, but i like Juan Dixon better. Gerald Wallace might be sick next year. Brandon Hunter is ok...i like Chucky Aktins better. JR Bremer another player with high potiental next year. They just want to pick guys with small contract so they get big name players in the summer of 2005
