I say we take a big foreign guy probable from the european leagues or china. A player like ha-sing jen or w/e from china who is 7'3" he would be a project but a big man thaty could help us on the boards. If it doesnt work out we can just not sign him or send him over seas for a couple years to develope his game.
The wolves took Blake Stepp pg from Gonzaga with their pick. Iam not for sure if that means that the wolves arent going to atempt to re-sign Troy Hudson. But Stepp would probably get a serious look at the backup pg slot tho. He can make the perimeter shot. And he is more of a pure point guard than hudson. But Hudson experience on the NBA level alone makes him a better player. So it will be interesting what the wolves do with that backup pg spot. They could hand it over to Stepp who could learn under Cassell. And maybe take over him in the future, and has a non-guaranteed contract. Or pay Hudson to stay
this doesnt mean he will make it remember marcus taylor, i say we should have taken d. rice from miami , hes got a body similiar to kg his rookie year and even looks like him

No biggie there.

I see this as a project pick even though he's probably more polished than some of the kids taken in the first round, though I don't know alot about this kid's game. It seems to me that there's alot of good players available as undrafted FA's & some nice seniors available in the 2nd round.
Well, our summer team is going to be solid. We will have Holman as our center, Ebi and Rickert as our Forwards, and Stepp and Penny as the guards. I don't think any other of the summer league teams(besides the Nuggets and Cavaliers) will be able to compete with that.
Anyone know of any decent C's or backup PG's we could get with the pick that we have? Those two are what we need, adding depth to our bench or some strength, versatility and presence on our starting roster.
