exactly! why would you hate on the team for this? VINCE is the one doing wrong. that post makes no sense. didnt know he used to be a mod, but its no wonder he isnt one anymore if he posted that kinda jargon.

dj_premuim, yes I do like Etan a lot lol, and to franchise, I'm also scared of Marion in the halfcourt, but Babcock said he wants to make us a fast break team, could work.

I'd love the JJ one, but instead of 8th in attendance, we'd be 27th, only beating the Hawks, Hornets, and Bobcats.

Is Carter trying say, "up yours Canada", by having his statements published on Canada Day? [IMG]

Seriously I don't blame Carter for wanting to leave the Raptors considering how our media bashes him and how a lot of our fans turned against him. I bet the article about Carter's family that Dave Feschuk wrote was the final straw for him. I just hope Toronto fans don't do the typical "boo the ex-raptor" garbage when Carter comes back in town because we can't forget about the good things he's done for the franchise.

That being said I still think he's being a bit immature for demanding a trade for those reasons. He said he was displeased when Bosh was drafted and then he later regreted saying that, so what makes him think that he won't regret being displeased with the drafting of Araujo? And it also seems like he's not giving Babcock a chance just because the Raptors didn't hire Dr.J instead. C'mon, he was even avoiding Babcocks phone calls even before he met the guy.

With all these stupid and crazy trade ideas i think we might aswell trade VC to the bobcats for picks and some players. Maybe Okafor.

vince wants out and he can't even top the nba headlines, coach K won that distinction. it shows u the growing irrelevance of vince, he's a synthetic superstar produced in the espn era of highlight plays. U know by virtue of those spectacular dunks that look ordinary today after 3 consecutive injury plagued seasons. vince wants out, lets accommodate the boy?s obnoxious demands. children don't belong in the nba and they surely don't win u championships. vince wanted out cause he wanted to be like all his idols; see shaq wants out, tracy wants out and kobe wants out so vince wanted to be just like them.

vince and donyell for watson, bonzi and swift. and franchise 3 that would be the best trade in franchise history. search through the draft thread for my rationalization of the trade for those don?t know about it.

We don't know anything for sure yet. It hasn't been confirmed at all, and just a thought. Didn't Vince just tell a Orlando Paper that he was willing to give Babcock a chance. So right now this is just a report and we have not got any confirmation as of yet.

    ^thats what I thought.

Right now I am considering this as just a rumour fuelled by the Araujo trade. I mean we are hardlyt in the free agency yet and have hardly any trade talks and he already is upset witht he team? I thought babcock thoguht they were on the same page?

The shaq trade idea was very creative, but will never go down.

3? 9 games missed counts as an "injury plagued season" ??

seems like lots of cats missed around that much time. pretty normal for anyone logging that much clock will go down for a few games.

Still don't like it, maybe because you like Rasheed you like Bonzi but he's not that good

Why would we give up Ray, Rashard and Ridnour for essentially two players, one injury prone and one over thirty? I rate Marshall, but assuming Ray for Vince is the straight up part of the deal, I'm not going to give up Rashard and Ridnour for Donyell Marshall.

Tell me, if you were Seattle, would you ship Ray Allen, Rashard Lewis and Luke Ridnour to Toronto for Vince, Donyell and Lamond Murray? Take off the purple coloured glasses.

last time i checked ray missed more games then vince last season. a LOT more.

sonics arent winning either...and donyell may be over thirty, but he's going to give you more rebounding, better D and some shot blocking. hes not a dominant shot blocker, but hes decent. i never even suggested ridnour, take him out of the equasion and it seems like a viable deal to me. vince will sell more tickets then allen, and thats just as important to a franchise (a business) as stats. YOUR the one who suggested that seattle would have to be "desperate" to pull the trigger on that deal...why dont you take off your green glasses and ill stop rolling my eyes. its not a desperate deal, its a reasonable deal. you dont like it...fine, its hardly a move of desperation.

Rashard Lewis is 24, Luke Ridnour is 22. We are not going to be a contender anytime soon, I don't see the point of mortgaging future assets for players that, let's face it, aren't exactly proven winners either. I'm happy to trade Rashard, but I want younger guys back. It's a horrible deal for Seattle, end of story.

And last time I checked Vince misses games every season. If I was offered Vince for Ray straight up I doubt I'd do it, so I'm not sure why I'd give up two more key parts for essentially one guy who's over 30, and while he's a good player, only gets 15 and 10 in the East. He is undersized in the West.
