Now he's asking the Clippers, his most probable alternative destination, to play in Anaheim. According to the Los Angeles Times, the Clippers are considering a request from Bryant to play 10-12 regular season games at The Pond in Anaheim near Kobe's Orange Country home.</div>

thats hilarious, probably the biggest request by a FA ever, he is actually asking a team to relocate for him, i can't see any tem relocating for one player. It would be hilarious if they did though.

    Amazing.

These requests are coming from a guy who is on trial for rape.

This article in the Orlando Sentinel really sums up how stupid people are acting towards this guy -
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Schedule surgery without telling your team. Get accused of sexual assault. Watch your team do everything possible to make you feel comfortable as you play basketball with this allegation. Thank them by fighting with your team's other star player, who is bigger and more important than you are. Thank them by fighting with your team's coach, who has won more championships than you have.

Be brilliant for a minute. Resume selfishness during the Finals. Lose. Become a free agent. Make it known that, to keep you, your team must trade the other star you hate and the great coach you can't stand. Watch your team try to oblige.

Flirt with other teams. Summon (that's how you do it) them, and give them one hour to pitch why they should want an accused sexual predator on their team, one whose trial begins five weeks before training camp. Watch your team, only one of the most storied in sports, practically get naked in public to show you how much they care. Be pensive. Think hard. You have the world, or at least the NBA's version of it, at your sneakers.

Don't even ponder who has the most juice in this league anymore. It's King Kobe, stupid. He must be the most powerful man in all of basketball. No one else could do what he has done and still have people kissing his bunions.</div>

I think a lot of u guys are forgetting that David Stern has been saying this for years...in fact, he wants the Clipps to move to Anahiem permanantly...they were splitting their home games between L.A. and the Pond since the early 90's, its really no big deal IMO....in any case, this is a bad sign for the LAkers if Kobe is making demands to the Clippers...

Hehe, yeah well they do get out of hand at times.

But lets face it... who's decision was it to sleep with that woman? It wasn't that reporters, it was Kobe's. Now I'm not saying he raped her, I'm just saying he made the mistake of sleeping with her, and its his own fault that he is in the mess right now.

Actually, I think Kobe is taking this deal better than 99% of his fans, who do all the whining for him

I heard this on the A-Channel a canadian news station under the sports section they said the Clippers have a slight possibility of moving to Anaheim and I do recall hearing this a year or two before as well.

Well this guy has teh star power to ask for this kind of treatment, and both L.A. teams are treating him like a king...but as pointed above Stern has asked the Clippers to do this in the past, I dont see why everyone is making a big deal out of this...the Clippers need their own place to play basketball, cant share with teh Lakers...they arent big enough of a team to right now...

I don't think any player has the right to demand where the team should play or relocate.

Yes, the Clippers could use a new arena, but they need it for the organization - NOT Kobe.

I guess if we put two and two together, he also has the right to cheat on his wife, toy with an organization that has been loyal to him.... so on and so on.

excuses, I've had enough of the excuses. Kobe is plain and simple absolutely selfish. If he doesn't sign with the Lakers and does sign with the Clippers, I hope karma will be a bitch to him.
