first off, vince can't jump like he used to. THe block was sick but i remember he had a block on eddie jones where his head was literally an inch away from the rim. That block showed his head was probalby an inch above the mesh level. Carter had so much more hops b4.

Its obvious that he can't jump like he used to. He doesn't explode from the baseline like before, but he can still jump higher than most players in the NBA. He has a high vertical, but just not was explosive for obvious reasons...

Carter had so much more hops b4.</div> never said its the same, just said he hasnt lost it. that video is proof he hasnt. furthermore...this screen shot, shows that if anything he's about half an inch below the rim, as opposed to a mere inch above the bottom of the mesh as you have tried to contend. did you even watch the video?
So, T-mac doesnt just average 22 5 and 5. I hope your not trying to compare Vince to Tmac cause tmac is way better than Vince. 22 points is peanuts to what he should be averaging and every offseason its the same damn thing. "Vince is gonna be so good next year" haha yea sure. you know vince isnt as good and cant jump as high as he use to and so does he. why cant you?

"Vince is gonna be so good next year" haha yea sure. you know vince isnt as good and cant jump as high as he use to and so does he. why cant you?</div> did you even read my last post? i JUST SAID not moments ago, that im not, and never have tried to claim that vince has the same vert he used to have. i simply said "he hasnt lost it"...and he hasnt. he's lost a small bit of vert...but not all of it, as some people try to contend. why dont you take a look at the pic above if you dont believe me...try refuting photo evidence and no, i wasnt trying to compare vince to t-mac, i was just proving to you that vince is more then just "fun to watch" as you put it. 22, 5 and 5 is substance...its something a whole hell of a lot more then "just fun to watch". 22ppg is penuts? looks pretty good to me. puts him at 7th in the league for scoring. didnt you notice that scoring was down throughout the entire league last year? no2 in scoring was 24ppg (peja) and no1 was 28 (t-mac) compared to the previous year where no6 was 25ppg (dirk) and no1 was 32ppg (t-mac). so far, iv backed up all of my opinions with substance...you just make claims and have nothing to back it up, other then your own opinions.

What's even funnier is T-Mac's got a bad back and I'll laugh at you when he's forced to retire 10 years into the league.
Im so sick of everyone bashing on Vince. He was the NBAs golden boy a couple years ago and now everyone is just trashing him cause he got injured. Give the man some respect and don't ditch him guys. And I know hes not as good as he used to be but I still to this day watch him cause just maybe....just maybe hell do something spectacular like he used to.
of coourse vince carter still jumps the same.. his head was at the rim level in his first dunk during the all star games..... but he just jumps high when he wants to.. I mean he?s not forcin his body.. but if he wants to jump <strike>fuckin</strike> high like he used to.. he surely can do it...
Actually, Vince played quite well last year. He got hurt but he still played a respectable amount of games. The guy can stll play. Raps make the playoffs if he's healthy, plain and simple.

WHO HAS SEEN the IN"VINCE"IBLE Videos on Kazaa there are two it shows every vince carter play from high school through college through his rookie year in the nba to the present. NO DOUBT THE BEST VC VIDEOS OUT...There was so much footage...THERE WERE 2 PARTS to the movie. If someone tells me how to upload them...I will post them up.. they r really worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
