Thankyou Need, finally someone agrees with my Sean May theory. He needs a big man teacher. Roy should try and get Worthy to come and work with him and try to help him develop his skills.

    1. Hakim Warrick - Syacuse...Coming back for his senior year better then ever.
    2. Chris Paul - Wake...Freshman of the year last year and can only be better.
    3. Wayne Simien - Kansas...Big body that can take on any center in college.
    4. Charlie Villaneuva - Uconn...With Okafor out he could step in right away and put up some nice numbers...
    5. Sean Banks - Memphis...Nobody really reconizes this guy, he took Memphis past the first round last year and put up 20 ppg...He can have a REALLY nice year...

    Watch out for:

Rashad Mccants - UNC, Raymond Felton - UNC, Julius Hodge - NC State, and Chris Taft - Pitt...

Don't worry, I notice Banks. As a Memphis fan and a C-USA fan, I watched the Tigers last season. Expect big years from not just him, but his fellow teammate Rodney Carney as well.

Yeah Carney really impressed me last year. He showed true poise for a guy as young as him.

He's okay, but top five is a stretch. The game that Memphis won last year was not just him. They also had Burks (now in the NBA), Carney (projected first rounder), and a few other great prospects. Besides, they weren't playing anyone THAT good. [IMG]

Hey, we had a very competitive Conference and I thought they were a very fun team to watch. We had the conference USA POY and overall we had a good season. So we aren't the best team. Overall we had a very nice season, and only looking to improve.

Sean May is too soft to be a top 5 player. He is also not a good defender and picks up way too many early fouls. Here is my list:

    1. Rashad McCants(Probably lead the NCAA in scoring)
    2. Chris Paul
    3. Julius Hodge

4 and 5 I think someone form Duke will step it up maybe Shelden Williams he was on a mean streak at the end of the season and will get more touches this year and someone from Uconn like Dehnam Brown or Charlie or Rashad Anderson.

If you have to go with someone on UCONN don't go with them. Go with either Josh Boone or Charlie Villinueva. I think Boone is the safest bet. But I guess eiter of the two you mentioned have a slight chance to step up.

I think Randolph Morris will be a good player, but he is only in his freshman year, I don't think he will be a top 5 player after just one year. Other than that your top five are great [IMG]

Exactly the point I was going to make as well. Boone stepped up big time and filled in the need of a good rebounder, big man, downlow with the absence of Okafor in a few games. After that, when Okafor made his return, Boone kept his level of play up there and was a very significant part of this team. He was very key to some of their wins and their championship.

Thanks for reminding me Hinrich I had totally forgot about Lawrence Roberts, I am going to insert him into mine. He made a really smart move by staying in college. I expect him to average 21 ppg., 9 rpg., 2 apg., 1.5 bpg. He will dominate.

Warrick is an obvious favorite. Taft and Shakur are in the top also.

Shakur is probably the best athlete in the college game. But I don't see him as being one of the top college players this season. He will probably be a high draft pick when he leaves just because of his athletic ability.

Shakur, the best athlete in the college game? Nah. I don't think so.

I read in a business magazine (i forget which one) about a HS kid that would've supposedly been the #1 pick this past draft if he were eligible, but he was only a sophomore (or was it jr?) . I don't remember his name though, altho if I see it, I'll probably recognize it.

I know it, and don't any of you forget I've been following him since he was a freshman. It's Greg Oden he's already 7'1.5 and his brother who is 13 is 6'6. He will probably be a number 1 pick permitting he continues on his pace. Why would you talk about him in here?
