The Heat added what figures to be the final piece of its backcourt as sources
say the team signed free-agent point guard Damon Jones on Thursday A news conference is planned today to announce the signing of an undisclosed
player. A source said that player is Jones, who is coming off a strong season with Milwaukee, and that he likely will supplant former Cardinal Gibbons and Dillard star Keyon Dooling as the backup to Dwyane Wade.

Jones took the remainder of the Heat's $4.9 million mid-level exception and signed a two-year deal for about $5 million with the second year as his option

Isn't Mike James coming, so it isn't really a loss, Milwaukee gets James, and Miami get's Jones who is a player they'll need.

    He signed on Thursday.

Goodbye Damon, if you could play D, you'd still be here

Yes but Damon wanted to re-sign here, once they signed Mike James, then he left, it was in the paper here

    So my statement is right.
