Fiction: Matt Harpring is still the leader of this team. His leadership and influence will be huge considering that the Jazz have many new faces on their roster. He is one of Sloan's guys.

Fact or Fiction: Kris Humphries will be on the NBA All Rookie First Team.

Fiction: Boozer's stats will be almost the same if not better, but not worse.

F/F: Jerry Sloan is the best coach at getting the most for their talent in the NBA.

Fact: Jerry Sloan is the best coach in the NBA, period. Although I would hate to play for him, he literally forces everyone on his team to play as hard as they can for the good of the team.

Fact or Fiction: Utah will not only make the playoffs but win a first round series (think objectively).

Fiction: It's hard to say at this stage, but I think they'll make the playoffs and have a first round loss. If they can avoid San Antonio, Minnesota and Sacramento then anything could happen.

F/F: AK47 will make the NBA Defensive 1st team?

Fact...AK is a top 5 defensive player, and arguably one of the 3 best defenders in the league...

F/F: Arroyo will average 8+ assists a game as the starting PG...

Fiction: He started last year, and averaged 5. I expect him to improve, but not that much.

F/F: Carlos Boozer and Andrei Kirilenko will both be in the All-Star game representing the Jazz someday?

Fact, I'm sure it will happen someday unless Kirilenko leaves next yeare which I doubt he will.

F/F: Jazz will beat the Lakers on opening day (which I'm going to that game!!!)

Fact: Jazz are always tough at home, and I expect them to start strong.

F/F: The Jazz wont have any major chemistry issues within the team and will play as a team the whole season?

    *Bump*

Fact: Utah won games as a team last season, and with Jerry Sloan still around, nothing will change.

F/F: The Jazz should of matched Mo Williams.

Fiction: The Jazz can't afford to pay a third string point guard that type of money. They should have realized that there was a chance of losing him in free agency and put him up for the expansion draft instead of Sasha Pavlovic, who would have been under contract for the next three years.

Fact or Fiction: This will be Jerry Sloan's last season in Utah.

Fact the new era of Jazz basketball is quickly arriving Stockten and Malone Saloans two main guys are gone his team is becoming younger and his style of coaching wont be accepted there much longer as not many of these young guys will want to run plays like the pick and roll.

Not to mention personal issues will keep him from staying intrested in the game much longer. Mabye a new team may spark his energy, but his days as coach of the Jazz are over after this season imho.

F/F The Jazz will regret letting Williams go.

Fact: He will only get better, and could be a great combo guard some day. They also could of gotten more out of him and Sasha.

F/F: The Jazz should of left Mo unprotected, Sasha protected in the exapnsion draft.

Fiction: At the time it look to be the thing to do, with all signs pointing to resigning Mo and Sasha having less potential the Jazz looked to pick the right route.

F/F (old school): John Stockton should of won MVP in the 89-90 season when he averaged 17.2 PPG 14.5 APG 2.65 SPG?

Fiction: Magic deserved it that year, and Karl Malone was arguably more deserving than Stock.

F/F: If Karl Malone had stayed with Utah last season, his numbers would have been around 20 and 8 per game?

I was just searching the forum and ran up on this and thought we might could get it rolling again before training camp.

Fiction: His stats would of been more like 17 and 8.

F/F: Carlos Arroyo will win the most improved player for this coming year.

Fiction: He will improve considerably, but considering he already averaged 12 and 5 and was a starter, it will be very hard for him to win MIP.

F/F: Jarron Collins will have a career year.

Fiction: Collins' stats will be about the same as last year.

F/F: When Okur's Jazz days are over, he will be considered the greatest Jazz center of all time.

Fiction: It's hard to call from this far out, but I don't think he can reach the level Mark Eaton was at, although Okur should have an edge on offense.

    F/F: AK47 gets a contract extension by October 31?
