<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">It's been awhile .... Hope everyone is having a great summer ..... As the summer days begin to dwindle, my rehab is going as strong as ever. To bring everyone up to speed, I have been dribbling and shooting for quite a while now, but I started playing basketball again probably about four or five months ago. I've been actively participating in camps and clinics, so I have been doing drills and stuff like that. The first time that I started doing drills again, I would jog from one spot to another to shoot and I almost passed out. It was such a good feeling - to be really tired and strained. I hadn't felt that in so long.

I'd like to be playing a lot more competitively right now, but it's coming along. I'm behind my own schedule at the moment, but I am harder on myself than anyone else could ever be. Compared to what my therapists and doctors say, they think I'm ahead of schedule, but I feel like I'm behind. It's really just a matter of perspective and point-of-view.</div>

When Jay comes back hopefully he doesn't have the Bob Hurley mental block. If he does, it will be sad but at least he tried. But I'd like to see him overcome that, and hey actually become a good freethrow shooter in the process. It's still surprising for a guy with an outside J to only shoot in the mid 60's from the line.

great find. ui cant wait to see jayson williams coming back to the L. if i was him i would stay out the whole year just to get back in shape and then to exceed what i was before i got injured if thats possible with him.

I think Jayson should talk to kenyon martin and his trainers because i'f i'm not mistaken kenyon went through a similar accident and look at kenyon now.

He may return, but the fact is that he will have side effects as he will never ever be as good as he was going to be.

^So true and so sad. But hopefully he'll at least be a solid player when he comes back. Like 10 ppg and 5 to 6 dimes per game.

    Great Link

Jay Williams returning and having a outstanding season would be a great comeback of the year story.

    Good Luck.

Yea they bought out his contract in around March. He stated something about it in his blog. I doubt he'll return there with Hinrich, Gordon and Duhon there.
