There is no doubt in my mind that you will get a lot of crap for the loss, and I am likely to be one of the people dishing out the crap. I guess that's what happens when you are the loudest group among a larger group of people. But this post is not intended to give you crap...

I actually wanted to say congratulations on an incredible season, and more importantly, an incredible run of 4 years. McNabb has proved me wrong this year, he is a much better QB than I gave him credit for. The Eagles have proven that they are a very good team, and the fact that this game was as close as it was surprised the heck out of me.

Going up against a team that had won 2 superbowls in the last three years is just unfair. There is no team better in high tension situations than the Patriots, and until a few teams can start to rattle them, they are going to be a dynasty.

Be proud, even though you lost. Your team deserved to be in the superbowl, and I know every fan on this board would have liked to see their team get that far, regardless of the end outcome.

I would like to echo what Vikingfan said. You guys gave a great effort. I had said previously that I didnt think it would even be close but you hung in there and fought tooth and nail..... errrrr..... I mean beak and claw right to the end. There is always next year though. At least thats what keep me going. Later.....

I wanted to echo the sentiments of Vikingfan. I never gave the Eagles a chance of keeping it that close. Good season...(just not good enough). By the time the 3 Superbowl losses streak is over McNabb will be 32 or 33 won't he?

Yes I agree the Eagles gave us a game that I was not expecting. Luckily I didnt put my $ where my mouth was. I was especially surprised at T.O.'s affectiveness last night. He was my MVP for the regular season & he's what kept u in this ball game. I felt the Pats should've run the ball more but in the end it was the screen play that was our biggest weapon.

I cant even voice my disapointment today. We had every chance in the world to win that game, and we just came up short. The first half mistakes, horrible time management did us in. I am proud that the Eagles left everything on the field, but there were too many mistakes that we could not overcome when it come to the end of the game. Congrats to the Patriots, you are the best team. I wish I could sit here today and say that we are, I wanted to go to a parade tomorrow. Oh well, there is always next year. It's just tough losing like that, it's one thing if we get blown out, but a close game like that. I think that's when Super Bowl experience comes in handy.

IMO Eagles should get rid of Pinkston and Mitchell. Year after year these guys don't produce. TO plays with a broken leg, but Pinkston misses the second half with leg cramps. Mitchell runs his mouth all week and on his 1 catch, with 2:30 on the clock, he's acting stupid instead of getting in the huddle. We needed those guys.

Screw Freddie, he's used up all the time I gave him after the 4th and 26th catch. Pinkston on the other hand isn't THAT bad. I'd like a different number 2, but if TO is around Pinkston can definetly stretch the field for him

Pinkston's not bad. I question his heart to be the man in the big game. No question he has some ability. He just seems to shy away from pressure.

Pinkston is good, and definitely a good #2. I wouldn't put him in a #1 position, though. I too would question his heart after seeing TO play...man, that guy has some courage.

Yeah, I respect the Philidelphia Eagles because it was a tough game for them, the fact that they were still hangin' on. Donovan McNabb had a couple of picks though, mainly by Teddy Bruschi.

I thought Bruschi should have been the mvp personally.

I was impressed w/ Greg Lewis & Hood (the backup DB).
