Juwon Howard for Donyell Marshall

    Hey guys, I wanted a Raps fans' perspective on this.

    What do you guys think of giving up Marshall for Juwon Howard? Would it go well with your team strategy and structure etc?

    No man, juwan howard is getting to old and he isnt a great shooter anymore. He is a better rebounder though. I would keep donyell.

    Ok, a fellow Rocket fan of mine suggested Juwon Howard and Tryone Lue for Donyell, and Palacio? What do u guys think of that? I personally wouldn't want Lue leaving the Rockets though.

    Juwon is in no way a better rebounder than Marshall.

    i think juwon has a better post up game, but donyell is the overall better player. he runs the floor better, he's a pretty decent shot blocker, and he can spread the floor because of his range. he's also a double double machine given the minutes. one of the most underrated players in the league actually. whereas juwon is one of the most over-paid

    I agree with Premium_Plus, Juwan Howard has the better postgame but not by much and Donyell can shoot three's. How often do you get a big man that can play inside-out all the way? I'd take Donyell in a heartbeat, no disrespect to Juwan though.

    Dont eeven play...marshel is better player than juwan and he meshes well with our style of play...if you got him in the lineup i personally think it would screw up the rapters offence... and BTW he is a jynx, every team he goes to they lose....think about it

    it wouldnt work under that cap and even if it did i would prefer donyell over howard any day

    You don't want to mess with a good thing. So even if the players were better, Donyell and Milt have better chemistry with the rest of the team.

    When Juwan was in Orlando all the fans hated him. He would miss easy shots and frustrate the fans. Him and Tyrone Lue weren't very popular with the people I knew because of the way they play. I have no idea why the Raptors would do this trade. It would just weaken their lineup because Howard is a backup and Marshall is a key to the Raptors winning games.
