It may be that the Dolphins initially pick Smith & Tampa takes Brown then the trade goes down.</div>

Doubt there is any substance. Saban would not let what he is thinking get out, but they have to write a story.

I agree that Nick would not let who is he drafting out. That is speculation on my part.

However, I was looking at this some insight into what Saban considers important when making a pick. Bottom line; character is what counts.

Everything I've read seems to say that Brown is a model citizen and highly thought by peers, etc...

Saban has always been like blackadder says. He is a Find out when it happens kinda guy. He won't let anyone know before hand.

Remember this phrase; BA was right. R Brown is a Dolphin. That recent thing w/ Braylon was a smoke screen

After 3 rounds, Im pretty thrilled with the Saban era....notice that when we did our mock draft on this sight, Sabans 1st 3 picks(Brown, Matt Roth, and Channing Crowder) all were taken in the 1st round....Im pretty happy....there were players I wanted, that he passed on, but I trust him to do whet he thinks is best.....its nice to get some potentially good players in a draft, something that was rarely done with Wanny in charge....
