Ainge would hate Fisher if he hated Antoine Walker that much. Walker and Fisher are both high volume shooters.

^Yeah, did anyone hear Barnett say that he doesn't fall in love with guys that shoot only threes like Dmon Jones, hah, he's in love with Fisher already.

Look what we end up with

    PG: Gary Payton/ Luis Flores
SG: Jason Richardson/ Dorrel Wright/ Byron Russel
SF: Paul Pierce/ Zarko Cabarkapa/ Byron Russell
PF: Troy Murphy/ Juwan Howard/ Zarko Cabarkapa
    C: Nene/ Michael Owolokandi/ Andris Biedrins

That could be a playoff team in the next years. Then in the draft we get Marvin Williams and get rid of Byron Russel and

    PG: Gary Payton/ Luis Flores
    SG: Jason Richardson/ Dorrel Wright
SF: Paul Pierce/ Marvin Williams/ Zarko Cabarkapa
PF: Troy Murphy/ Juwan Howard/ Zarko Cabarkapa
    C:Nene/ Michael Owolokandi/Andris Biedrins

^Ehh, I'm not sure, Dunleavy is looking better, but Alston is insane and would be our next Sprewell

That sequence of deals J Rich put up has my head swimming. Juwon Howard and Payton are slipping, and both are paid a lot for what they bring now-notice Speedy's numbers are identical to Paytons If we can get Nene for Dunleavy that would be sweet. I like Pierce, for sure.giving a pair of high picks is scary. If such a complex set of deals did happen the Warriors would be better for awhile. Later on we'd feel Olowokandi was an underachiever and Payton was getting too slow-and we would be looking at who we didn't get to draft. more realistic,we probably can't get the best part of that batch and I'd worry about a complex plan coming up short, for instance without Nene the final result is not as strong

Now that Cliff is gone, I'm really starting to wonder what is going to happen with Dale.

My thoughts immediately go to the $10M trade exception, which is currently residing in Detroit. I don't know if the Pistons would be willing to sacrifice future for another championship run, but this trade works out salary-wise:

    Davis/Najera <-> Trade exception/Darko
We could throw in a pick from our vast selection, too.

Larry Brown might be in favor of this trade because he swaps one non-factor for two solid defenders/offensive rebounders.

I'm sure most Detroit fans would probably be up in arms, but Davis and Najera would help their chances for a push into the late postseason.

From our standpoint, I'm not sure how much faith I have in Darko, so I'm not really sure why I am posting this trade. I guess if we have 2 prospects at center, we have twice the chance that one will actually become an everyday player.

I really wish Montgomery would put Biedrins into games a little bit, that way I would have a better feeling for what he can do and I wouldn't have to waste my time speculating cr@p like this.

They're already winning though and they probably would not trade their future. Larry Brown won't be there forever too.

Yeah you're right custodian, optimism and lack of sleep got the best of me. I wonder what we can get for Davis, though? I'm not sure I want $10M worth of players in a trade.

No worries, it would be cool to get Darko. I just think there will be a time when the Pistons want to use him as the next franchise player after Ben Wallace/Rasheed Wallace gets too old/injured and a coach will be hired that will give him more time to play. He's the Dunleavy of the Pistons, only he's got the size and athleticism to play any position [IMG] He's really young, but he will be very good if his attitude improves. Can't believe one time he missed a dunk during garbage time and hurt his hand doing it. lol [IMG] That's karma telling him to be more humble. Larry Brown is the man, you don't question him, Darko.

GS: we get rid of fisher for a better pg in alston on a much better contract. We lose the cap releif and take on rose, but he only has two years left after this season on contract and either wait out for cap relief or deal him when in his last year, he is also a defined score the warriors could use. Plus we unload najera.

    PG: Speedy/Alston/Flores
    SG: Jrich/Pietrus/Cheney
    SF: Rose/Pietrus/Zarko
    PF: Dundun/Zarko/Murphy
    C: Murphy/Foyle/Bierdens

TOR: Gets rid of rafer and rose's contract for some cap relief and a veteran pg in fisher and a hustle player in najera. help free's up a good chunk of cap to work with this summer. although it leaves them a little weak at G.

    PG: Fisher/Palacio/Williams(IR)
    SG: MoPete/Murray
    SF: E.Will/Najera
    PF: Bosh/Marshall/Bonner/Sow

The guy can score, but he incessantly whines about minutes and occupies positions that are supposed to be held down by JR, Mike, and Mickael. He is also supposed to be one of the worst defenders out there and his contract is atrocious.

Even though we would try to dump him one year from now, he is a deal breaker in my mind. I'm hanging on the hope that we have a chance of being pretty good next season and I don't want to doom it prematurely by adding an outspoken, disgruntled vet.

hoopshype reports us talking to philly about dalembert and bay area writer(can't remember his name) said we would have to talk robinson(glenn), which is not a problem since he is off the books this offseason, so(via realgm) it would have to be something like fisher/davis/future 1st rounder for robinson/dalembert....i would like that a lot....

Dalembert eh? He looked great last April or May of last season... and hasn't done anything since... I smell Mickael Pietrus part II, and besides we have F-C Andris Biedrens. [IMG] I'm still pulling for any trade that would involve Carlos Arroyo, but I don't think there's anybody they want from us. We need another playmaker badly and nobody is giving up any big man with low post moves.
