I don't watch the Mavericks too often but, is Devin Harris really this good? KJ, and the great...

John Stockton (yes, I needed another line to write his name, that's how great he was)

I let's see how good he can become. If he becomes that good, he will be able to lead the Mavericks to the finals, where they will constantly get beaten by the Knicks. [IMG]
But, on the real, I had no idea he was that talented. How do you Dallas fans feel?

He's definitely a great pick for Dallas. He had a great start to the season, but made a few bad decisions on the court leading to turnovers, making Nellie bench him. Comparing him to Stockton is very pre-mature. He'll first need to fill in Nash's void. I'm sure he has the capability to become an all star guard in another 3-4 seasons. I think he's a smart kid and his defense is pretty good. He still needs to improve on his shooting. He's certainly the future of the franchise..

Yes Devin was a good draft pick for this franchise, but its too early to compare him to great players like that. This kid has a bright future, I look foward to him to be just about as good as Nash was.

Harris and Nash are two totally different players. While Nash depends on his quickness and shooting to get most of his points, Harris penetrates. However, that is not a bad thing. I see Harris becoming a Baron Davis/Steve Francis type player in a few years. Working on that J should be his first priority though.

He's gonna get snapped in half one day, taking it to the rim the way he does.

Snapped in half? Allen Iverson has been doing basically the same thing for 9 years, and he hasn't broken a bone yet...

Devin harris has a lot of potential. He has tremendous athletic ability. He has the talent to be a star defensively as well as offensively. If youve watched some mavs games, he's got quick hands and routinely picks players pockets. He could lead the league in steals one day.
