It is a toss up between those 4. Garnett has showed that he can help his team win games and he is showing that he can get a double double day in and day out. Amare is starting to show himself, he did have a 50 point game that he added to his resume this season. Kobe is just Kobe. He is an all-around true player and has been for the past couple of years. Lebron, He is only 20 years old and is already getting talks about being the next MJ, the kid is phenominal.

    1. Kevin Garnett
    2. Lebron James (at least he will be in the future)
    3. Kobe Bryant (as much as I hate to admit it)
    4. Amare Stoudemire
    5. T-Mac (Mr. I don't try hard)
    6. Dwight Howard (He's unproven, but I think he'll improve and possibly move up this list in the future.)

LeBron James, easily. None of the others were as good as him just a year removed from highschool. LeBron is already one of the top 5 players in the league, and the best at the SF position.

As of right now the best high schooler to come straight to the NBA is Kevin Garnett. In my opinion LeBron James could be the best in the future, but not until he wins a Most Valuable Player award on the season will he have come close to earning that status. Kobe Bryant is currently the second best, you don't help a team to three championships without being called one of the best in the biz. Anyone forget Jermaine O'Neal? He started off slowly, but he still has time to improve even more as he has been doing every single year so far.

Moses Malone is the best to ever come out of high school. Soon I think LeBron will be the best though. Moses MAlone ws one of the all-time greats. As of RIGHT now the only one arguably to be one of the greatest of all time is Kevin Garnett. Kobe BRyant,LEBRon JAmes, and Amare SToudemire will most liekly join the ranks of the best players to come out of high school, but not yet.

Moses Malone has done more than any of them.

Short term- Lebron. He had an immediate impact when he came out of high school, while all the other names above needed time to develop and become better. Lebron James completely turned the Cavaliers around and turned them into a playoff team.

Long term- Garnett. MVP of 2004. He dishes out assists, rebounds, and puts up points. Kevin Garnett is a team leader that tries to keep his team together this year and has all the qualities needed to become a superstar phenomenal player. Enough said.

LeBron no doubt about it. None of those other guys had as big of an impact on the league or put up the numbers he did.

Moses MAlone- MVP of 1979 AND 1983. He led the Sixers to the title in 1983 also something KG has yet to do. Moses Malone was much more of a leader than KG. Where hass KG taken the Wolves? WCF? Where has he taken them this year? An 8th Seed in the conference. IF you haveanyone as your long term player it should be Moses Malone.

Now - Garnett or Kobe - Garnett has won an MVP award, but has failed to get his team into the finals, while Kobe on the other hand has 3 rings...and don't say it was all on Shaq because Shaq couldn't get the Lakers to the finals, let alone win rings, before he hooked up with Kobe. Kobe is argueably the best player in the game, and probably the most clutch.

Future - Amare. This. Kid. Is. Crazy.

He is putting up allstar, MVP numbers in his 3rd year out of HS, yes he may have Nash, but Amare is doing all of this off of instinct and raw ability. He has a developing J, and I will even venture to say that when he learns the game and understands the game...he will be better than LeBron James.

please.....how can you say that before the end of his high school senior year. He hasn't even gone through training camp in the NBA and you're already ASSUMING that he's going to be great. I know he might be great and he has potential, but the year eddy curry and kwame brown came out of high school didn't everybody think they're gonna be so great? Anyway that's just my thought he hasn't even been drafted yet

Present- This is pretty easy for me. You have Kevin Garnett and Kobe Bryant, there really can't be an argument for the two best players right now.

Future- This one is also easy, Amare Stoudamire and LeBron James. They are both putting up wicked numbers, and also leading their teams to great records.

Others- Jermaine O'Neal anyone? I have only seen his name once. Tracy McGrady, he is still huge.
