    Dahntay Jones, who many of us (including myself) labeled a bust and a bad draft pick right from the get-go, has exploded into the starting lineup recently. Not only is he starting, but he's also playing like one of the NBA's elite. He recently followed a 17 point performance with a career-high 23 point game (including 3-6 three point shooting). So now it appears as if we have another great wing player on our roster. Also, who would have guessed at the beginning of the season that Dahntay Jones and Shane Battier would be starting while Mike Miller, Brian Cardinal, and Bonzi Wells come off the bench?

    I knew Jones would be a good player ever since watching him at Duke. He can go on great streaks and take over games. I watched him play great against the suns and I was proud of him. Battier and Jones the Duke connection I love it! You can't hate Duke anymore can you?

    It's funny you say that. I almost completely forgot that Dahntay Jones and Shane Battier were Blue Devils. I despised both of them in college ball, and now I love them both; ironic.

    I think this is great for the grizz with jones coming on and proving himself to be a Prime Time Player... I think this gives JW room to go ahead and try and move either mike miller or bonzi. I belive the Grizz will begin looking at options very soon... Also it's rumored that Jerry West has quite an eye for Gonzaga's Ronnie Turriaff man wouldn't he look good in a Grizz uniform...

    I don't why people would declare him a bust when he hardly got any PT. Back in 2003 when he was drafted, I honestly thought he was a steal in the Boston trade, because he was so good in Duke. Now to see him getting PT under Fratello, and showing them he belongs, it's very nice to see. I made a thread in the Raps forum back in the summer, on how we should acquire him, and nobody really thought we should. Hopefully now people know why I made the thread.

    I think that if Dahntay Jones can keep up the good work and mike miller and bonzi coming off the bench the memphis grizzlies will be a hard team to stop.
