I knew that all was going to well to be ture. With Tskitishvili Biedrins will be the one left out of the roster. [IMG]

It takes Najera's contract off the books, and Skita's ends after this year and White's contract is a team option for next year. The #1 was probably Dallas's, or one in the future.

I love the trade. See what Skita has in practice, either they sign him cheaply in the off-season or let him go. Either way, at worst it's a #1 to get rid of Najera, which was done to help bring in Davis.

It would have been a high first rounder anyways. We get rid of Najeras contract. I dont know what their contracts are like though. Its funny, with Skita, Dunleavy, Zarbaka and Biedrens we have a bunch of tall white guys. Mullin is trying to make this team the first all white team to start since 1959...

It would be funny to see:
    C-Biedrins
    PF-Tskitishvili
    SF-Zarbaka

Mmm, so we have 5 6'10" white guy, Murphy, Dunleavy, Skita, Zako, and Skita? Unless either Skita or White show great promise, this is basically salary dump trade and I have no problem with it, as long as...

If that draft pick is Dallas pick, it's a great trade, because we just dumped Najera and his 3+ years contract for low draft pick.

If that draft pick is Philly's pick, I am contended with it.

If that draft pick is ours, it would be idiotic trade...

I highly doubt that it is our pick. And if it is, I am pretty sure it is a future conditional 1st rounder.

He's definitely going heavy on the foreign players, too. It's weird because the foreign hype has subsided among most GMs. I like this trade, too. Najera is a great player but his contract was pretty heavy (about $4 mil a year) and this will ease the burden considerably. Too bad we couldn't get rid of a few more contracts before the deadline, though.

I think it's safe to say that Mullin has a "big, white, foward" fetish.

The best time to get players is when the hype subsides. Most international players are just like high schoolers, takes them a while to develop.

The best option is to let them do it on someone elses roster - either in Europe or on the bench in the NBA.

Besides, it's not even clear that Mullin cared it was Skita as much as an expiring contract. White could also be a chip the Warriors could move either with another player, or perhaps for a second rounder or something in the off-season.

Oh, mu freakin' god. I am so happy! Najera was alriight, but I'm sure we will all miss his outside shooting ability [IMG]. Wow and we got Skita and White! If Mullin traded the 2005 first, I'll be mad

I just read on another board that the trade was Najera and Flores for SKita and White. If that is true it makes the trade that much better.

^What? Why we trade Flores?!! He had great potential. I'd rather do pick. We just got screwed like we did with New Orleans!!!
