Haha nice, overnight they put up a season ticket priority signup, with a nice little graphic of Baron. I expect ticket sales to increase big time (which is awesome by the way, its like an added bonus for the trade), but will season ticket sales increase that much?

I guess it makes sense that their sales would go up, but I don't think too many prospective buyers were waiting by their phones for the trade to go through.

But if it helps the ticket sells and gets the crowd filling up the stadium and making a lot of noise, it will be great for the team. It would be nice if they sold the Warriors as a TEAM though, with all the key players.

Until yesterday, everything has been J-Rich this and J-Rich that. I guess he was the only marketable player on the team since he had the dunk contest recognition. Hopefully that's gonna change!

It's still Jrich's team, though. I don't think Jrich is the kind of guy that would bail on us. But Baron might. I could see Jrich as being the Warrior's own Michael Finley. With us through thick and thin and the original go to guy. And he was definitely handling the losing, the injuries, the aggravation without being a prima donna and a spoiled brat. He was really professional. I think the locker room really had an influence on him. Guys like Van Exel inspired him to be the go-to guy, to get teammates involved, Cheaney made him believe that he could be more than just a dunker, Cliff Robinson demonstrated by example how to be a consummate pro and be grateful for opportunities given to you in the game. The only disheartening thing about Jrich was that contract thing he was getting all flustered about. We paid him big money, but I'm sure being on a losing team is why Michael Finley got big money just to stay. If Tskita, Zarko or Dunleavy becomes Dirk, we've just become the Mavericks. [IMG]

BTW nothing wrong with using Baron Davis to fill up more seats, because maybe that is Cohan's exit strategy. Raise the value of the team and sell it.
