Don't have a preview for this one, but looks like the Warriors are getting crushed by 20 at the half. Too many turnovers and missed shots looks like. The Pacers are shooting .488 and the Warriors just .343. Pacers took 5 3-pt shots and made 3. Warriors took 13 and mised 9. Gives you a little bit of an idea where the Warriors offense is going these days with only one hours rest between road games. 13 assists to the Warriors 6 assists. 2 turnovers compared to the 9 turnovers the Warriors have had. 6 steals compared to the one steal the Warriors have had. When Reggie Miller gets to the line for 6 attempts at the half, you know something is messed up here.
With this many turnovers and lack of asissts and increased minutes for Fisher, I can suspect why our offense is such crap. Plus Fisher has taken 5 more shots than everybody else. Then again I'm not actually watching the game because I don't have NBA league pass, but the radio is basically telling the story. Fisher is such a double edged sword, sometimes... With 6:41 to go in the 3rd, Fisher has turned the ball over 4 times, shot 4 of 12 from the field, and only got two assists and no steals. He's gotten to the line, but you can imagine the Warriors won't get every call because he doesn't really have much inside game.
Well game over, the W's got their cheeks pushed in and you know which ones. Good 4th quarter effort, though, by the rooks. Barnett is really high on Biedrins after watching him tonight and the impact he made. I don't think the W's can compete if Murphy and Jrich are hurting like they are now and with no decent playmaker after Baron Davis goes out. Again no inside presence, except for Biedrins to slam down the double handed 100% shot. To many 3's, too many turnovers.
I didn't listen to the game, but kept up with it on courtside live, and looking at the stats Biedrins has 8 pts, 10 rebs...after only playing about 5 minutes in the first half. Monty appears to have given him a lot of time in the second, as he finished with 22 minutes in the game. 3/3 field goals, 2/4 from the line. 1 steal, 1 block, 2 turnovers. Of course, the game was a blowout loss and Jermain O'neal didn't play. Still, he just has to get enough confidence and comfortability on the court so that he can play with the starters and contribute quality minutes next year. It looks like he's starting to do so. He used to look like he was deferring to others for rebounds, but finishing with 10, 3 offensive, it looks like he's becoming aggressive on the glass which is essential.
I think the long road trip is getting to them now. No one played well, judging by the box score except for Biedrins and Dunleavy. But I would never have thought that the warriors would have a chance to finish off the trip 4-4. That would be miraculous. They have atlanta tomorrow, so the team will be pretty rested since no one played much tonight. Aslo atlanta played a tough game against toronto tonight too.
I thought Andy finished with 9 boards but he may have had credit for another on the official sheet, either way,he played the whole 4th and did well. Not sure what was up with J Rich. The Warriors maintain their slot in the lottery and Andy proves to Monty he's ready for some prime time, not a bad outcome.
^Yea on the boxscore he was credited with 10. So close to a double double too. I think the eye is bothering him.
Youch, Richardson 5 points Andy did good at least. Did Richardson get hurt, did he experience any pain in the eye? Either way this isn't good. Two games ina row and he is held under 15 points
Nice stats from Biedrins! Is Jrich injured? Got him and Dun in my fantasy yahoo team..... Pietrus clearly didn't have his night; 1:7 from the field and 1:5 from the three

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting GSWScruff:</div><div class="quote_post">Biedrins highlights from this game, including his breakaway dunk: link</div> That was considerate of you GSW, thanks. I can't believe this kid is a 7 fter. This kid is fast! I know everyone says he should be a starting center but I'd really like the kid to eventually play the 4. We need someone to D up against the PF's of the west and who's gonna do that? Murphy? Please. Biedrins not an offensive juggernaut yet so having him D up against Amare, Duncan, Randolph, Boozer, KMart, Nene, Gasol, Brand etc would be beneficial. Playing the center spot is also more taxing than the PF spot. Shaq's 300 some pounds and gets injuries all the time due to the banging he takes. I love this kid so far...
Thanks Scruff . Nice vids, you make them? Like USDS7 said, I'm thinking Biedrins should play the 4 like they do with Pau Gasol. But maybe in a few years he'll develop natural bulk. I'd just hate to see him lose some quickness by adding too much lbs, trying to be a big body that he's not. We'll see how he develops.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting custodianrules2:</div><div class="quote_post">Thanks Scruff . Nice vids, you make them? </div>Nah, I just found the link on another site. I wish I had seen the game, it's so frustrating listening to them on the radio while they are getting killed. I'm really amazed at how good Biedrins is for an 18 year old. I hope he continues to get good minutes and takes Foyle's starting job next season. If he shows a good work ethic in the offseason, the sky is the limit for him and the Warriors.
