Didn't see the game cuz I was out balling, but after watching the highlights, I just shake my head. Araujo 0 points 0 boards in 8 mins, Jalen 5-17, Bosh with only 11 shots (could be because of good D, but it's Atlanta). Dissapointing to say the least.

Big dissapointment, we pretty much had the game but jalen and rafer each couldnt convert 1 of there 2 freethrows to seal the deal. But Bosh really needs to get the ball more often and needs to demand the ball more often aswell. Matt bonner had a career night with 21, and all our starters including donyell (excluding hoffa) had solid games. Its too bad we couldnt get the win.

Damn Raptors......

The reason Bosh wasn't getting much looks tonight is because he was being doubled on a lot of posessions. That is why Bonner got so many good looks, the ball was swung to him when Bosh passed out of those double teams.

This loss just brings us one step closer to the promise land........draft day. So many negatives I would take out of this loss I might as well not speak. Same old broken record, good win against a marginally good team followed by a dissapointing loss.

I was at the game, the Raptors didn't play D, but Tyron Lue was absolutley on fire and couldn't be stopped. Despite the disapointing loss, Matt Bonner put on a show.

Our defense was horrific, old man Googs really did a good job on Bosh in the game, I think Bosh had 5 or 6 turnovers. Bosh has been struggling lately scoring wise, teams are keying in on him, and he's not been able to handle it.

Rafer Alston is such a bad defender, I would've liked to see Milt out there guarding Lue, we should have done some defense for offense substitutions down the stretch. Tyronn Lue was mad clutch in the gmae though, and he was so confident in it, it was scary. Al Harrington just dominated, he killed Marshall over and over again, and it was just terrible. Losing to a team that has lost 23 straight on the road is as bad as it gets.

Maybe we'll finally go into full tank mode, and start playing Pape more...

^exactly, give up now. WE LOST TO THE HAWKS, our team can't define defense, is there a point in trying anymore? We might aswell use this time to develope our young guys.

AWESOM-O!!! We lost, I hope we do develop our youngins and scrap the season, because we ain't gonna make 'em playoffs. Phili is stinking it up, seems their pick is becoming more valuable to us! [IMG]

I was sad that we were playing the hawks, because I thought it would be a guaranteed win, fortunately we managed to lose!

Now, after humiliating by the Hawks, we MUST keep the respect in Sunday versus Philadelphia.
I don't care, Iverson, Webber, we have to win this game- Just to get our respect back.

I say close this theard, i really can't go around in the streets with out my friends ask me what's going on with my team.

I hope we will smile all day long after Sunday game.

Yea..that would be nice..
It was the defense, and the free throws that killed us, but Lue was going to make that shot anyways, nothing much you can do about that.

I'm fine with how it is right now. If the season were to end right now, Philly would get the 12th pick, so I'm fine with that. If they don't make the playoffs I think that's where they will be because they aren't going to pass Minnesotta or Denver/LA Lakers [whichever 2 don't make the playoffs] record in the West, and none of the other Eastern teams, New York or New Jersey are going to pass them.

If New Jersey or New York make a big push they could.

Do you think that will happen? I know I sure don't, but a 12th pick is great, I'm not going to get too greedy in hoping for the 9th. Best case scenario would be for us to get a Top 3 pick from the lottery, that would be nice.

Yea that would be nice, because 1) It's the 3rd pick 2) It has more trade value.

I could care less if we get the 3rd pick, if we're going to use it, because this years draft class is so balanced. If Marvin Williams doesn't declare, then this draft is even more balanced. We need another legit scorer/play maker to make us a better team + better defender. I'm still optimistic that Hoffa will become a good player in this league (10-8). Bogut right now looks to be the number 1 pick and Paul looks to be 2nd or 3rd. I'm not interested in any players playing overseas, like Andriuskevicius, Splitter and Aleksandrov -- no matter how good their potential might be projected to be, because chances are they aren't gonna reach their potential as quick as the college players. In the best case scenerio...If Paul is available at the 3rd spot, and we somehow have that pick, then I'll draft him, because he fills one of our needs, but if he isn't then I rather trade, for a lower pick. Package one of our players like Murray/E-Dub or even Rose if possible pick, for a pick and some other nice young players. We could get a McCants, Felton, Deron Williams, Warrick or whoever, with the 8th-12thish pick, so we don't need to do the same thing we did last year, and draft someone who we could get inbetween 11-25, at 8 (early pick).

The Raptors biggest need is a second star player at any other position but PF, if we can get that, we have a great core for the future with Bosh and whoever his duo would be.

I really don't care who we will pick... but he have to be from USA man... three of last five picks we had- we picked internationals and european players, and i think to need to come back to the old & good tactic.

Well the good thing about Bosh being guarded closely these days is that you know you're starting to get noticed when other teams stick on to you like glue.

Anyways, that was a terrible loss, but it's the Raps - unpredictable. I didn't think we would beat the Sixers today - not many people did, but we won.
