NC State has the 57-54 lead with just under 4 minutes left to go!

Villanuva rebounded a missed shot and tied it up with 14 second left. Hodge takes it to the hole and gets an and 1.

64-62 NC State with 4 seconds left

Hodge nails the free throw- 65-62 NC State, UConn has the ball.

Why would I even expect Connecticut to win? With what has all happened this year, that was almost too easy to predict. Hodge is a great player, I expect him to do well in the League. Another nice choke by a ranked team.

What a game that was, I listened to the last 15 seconds on the radio, NC State just flat out played better, they deserved the W.

I just don't care anymore. All I'm hoping for now is that every good team that I don't have going to the Final Four is upset. This actually helps since I had Kansas going to the Elite 8. Sure I lose the 2 pts here, but if they won this game, they may have one the next one, etc. I'll take the loss here, and just hope that Bucknell makes the Elite 8 so that nobody else gets points.

Man, another Bracket Buster. I think this gives UNC an easier road to the Championship, though.

I think this pretty much sealed North Carolina to make it. They can worry about Villanova, but then I think they're in.

UNC has been playing great ball, moving their feet on D and all, I really don't think they will be stopped now.

North Carolina is really the only one seed that has dominated their games. I mean none of the others were in jeapordy of losing, but North Carolina never had a doubt. Duke is doing all right too.

Can I ask, does anyone know the reasoning of Rudy Gay not starting? I see Ryan Thompson started in his place, or whatever the reason. Gay was limited to twentyfive minutes and only four points. Marcus Williams had a great game of 22/4/4 along with 2 steals. Too bad UConn lost. I had them to the Elite 8. Almost had them in the Final Four, good thing I didn't.

I also was wondering why Gay wasn't in there too much. Either he was being disciplined, he was hurt, or he was just playing bad. No clue.

it baffled me as well....maybe it will leave a bad taste in his mouth so he wants to come back next year ..... [IMG]

This weekend of tournament ended with an exclaimation mark as UConn goes down. I have been waiting for this since last year and it was awesome seeing them lose. What a story by Julius Hoge. In Hoge's freshmen year, he missed the last shot as UConn won. In his final year, he made the shot that beat UConn along with that free throw. You can sense the emotion of Hoge when he made it and I was happy for him. I am so glad UConn went down early this year. I thought they would be a threat to UNC in the Big Eight, but that won't happen. Now I hope the UConn ladies go down.
