It was a little dramatic, a little out of character, but definitely entertaining and got the home crowd all hyped up and obviously some of his teammates. What was even funnier was right before he was about to do it, he started thinking about it, pulls his jersey up a little and then back down, and then he's like, "aww what the hell", tosses his jersey off and then leaves the floor angry, crowd cheering and all where it falls into the hands of some guy that puts it on immediately and then puts his jacket over it so they don't ask for it back. Absolutely classic [IMG] All coming from one of the most reputably soft and softest looking, passive playing guys in the league. Dunleavy is the freakin' man!

The thing was, was it the right thing to do when he was the hottest hand in the first quarter and we were already short of Troy Murphy's scoring? Or did he need to make a stand on national TV against the refs since he's been getting jobbed all season on foul calls by Mike Callahan and the other two blind mice. Would some consider it embarassing coming from a guy like him or what's the reaction here?

    ***
Oh and one more thing. If anybody finds a picture/video clip of him actually tossing the jersey or jawing off profanities or getting thrown out by the refs, post it. That is the most hilarious things I've seen and I'm sure Jim Barnett on Fox Sports Net would want the "shirtless wonder" pic too for some "alone time" material. j/k [IMG]

Barnett: "I'd like to see something from Dunleavy tonight. My goodness... Now that's what I like to see from Dunleavy. He throws his jersey off well and looks sexy for a man half naked at 6'10".

Okay that's going too far... but would the commentating be like had there been Barnett on tonight I wonder?

Barnett was doing radio last night.

I had the game recorded on DVD but I just cleared it so I can record the NCAA games today. Damn, I could have ripped it and posted it. Oh well.

This year we've seen Dunleavy actually show some cajones. When he got hit in the jewels against the Sixers, he actually got mad and hammered the padding under the basket when a foul was called, probably by Mike Callahan.

Last night was a perfect opportunity to pull what he did. It was defining. He got started well, then got a few cheap fouls called on him. Dirk is starting to piss me off. He gets superstar calls, which I guess he deserves, but still shows little things that don't separate him. Jawing with BD, then shoving with JRich isn't something a superstar does.

Dunleavy wrapped up his whole image of the soft-boy-who-graduated-from-the-Duke-school-of-thespians, and tossed it into the crowd last night, and on national television. I think it was good that he dropped all those f-bombs then decided to go for it all.

He's shown alot this season. And the commentators are right, with BD coming over, they've given Mike the chance to do what he does best, everything. Its a shame his game got cut short by the bad calls. It was inevitable that he'd blow up at some point. It was classic.

Damn shame that he had to sit down with the two quick fouls after hitting his first 3 shots, would have loved to seen him stay aggressive with confidence. That's going to be a deadly combination with him. The future is going to be here.

I think it was a good thing, for Dunleavy to do just because he final just took a stand, becuase he gets alot of bad calls that don't go his way alot of times during his career so far. Was good to see Dunleavy show some emotion, but that was kind of scary how he just went crazy.

It did hurt the team that he was ejected though becuase no one was playing particularly well except Pietrus. But its a meaningless game in terms of their playoff hopes anyways.

It's about time that one of the W's made a stand like that. Especially on national T.V. Sending the message that the Arena is not an easy place to win and will be an especially tough buliding next year.

Dunleavy will certainly get fined, and there is a chance that he may get suspended. But, it was a nice image changing moment from his usual soft image in front of national TV. Dang, pullng Artest/Rodman act. Who saw that coming from Dunleavy? [IMG]...

I'll be at the game tomorrow. If he's playing I'll give him a standing O.

I wonder if he's gonna bulk up another 15lbs this offseason, then next year he'll really take on Dirk. I hope he takes Dirk to the rack every time next season, maybe serve some facials.

One of the first three baskets was where Dun took Nowitzki into the lane then spun back and laid it up with the left and the foul. That was the prettiest finish/move I saw him make all year.

That was an incredible thing to see from Dunleavy. It was awesome. I wanted to see Drik and Howard tossed after it. Great show from Dunleavy. We could have used him though

I hate Dirk. The guy is an amazing offensive player but plays no D and is a prick on the court. I wish Davis would have knocked him out.
