<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">PHILADELPHIA - Just under two weeks ago, the 76ers were embarrassed by the Toronto Raptors.

Already one of the worst defenders of the 3-pointer in the league, the Sixers allowed the Raptors to make a season-high 21. Worse, they made Donyell Marshall look like a star when he tied the NBA record for threes in a game at 12.

It was, Samuel Dalembert said Thursday, the easiest 38 points he's ever seen.
    It was also motivational.

"A butt-kicking like that is always a boost for you because you never want to get embarrassed like that," rookie Andre Iguodala said. "Allen said it best - we win as a team and we get our (butt) kicked as a team. We've been playing well since that game. We understand that we can't have defensive lapses. We have to give 100 percent effort."

<font color="DarkRed">That effort might be a tad easier since the fiasco in Toronto because that game drove Jim O'Brien to rethink his defensive scheme.
He has called the changes dramatic, and said the time was ripe because the team's recent stretch of practice days allowed time for learning and repetition.</font>Sometimes change is good. Since the Toronto game, the Sixers have won three of their last four, and have held teams to 35.8 percent shooting from the field overall, and 29 percent from 3-point range.
Those changes will be put to the test tonight when the Raptors (28-39) visit the Wachovia Center (7 p.m., CSN).</div>

Yeah! Finally! JOB comes to his senses. I think that now since he changed his plans, he won't be viewed as a bad coach anymore, since the offense isn't that bad, we are getting about 100 pts every game. The only other thing he has to do is FREE WILLIE! LET HIM PLAY! I still don't understand why he doesn't do a willie ai backcourt. who nows? maybe he will come to his senses again?

This is definetley a relief. I didn't read the whole article because I don't need to, we have had this problem all year and coach is finally doing something about it. This should have happened a long time ago.

^Agreed. Hopefully this will bring out more in players such as Webber, Dalembert, and Green.
