I may end up eating my words but the Spurs look to be close to the team of mid season after beating up Denver in game 2. When the Spurs are playing their game, with all(most) players available for a good rotation, I don't see many if any that will finish them off. I think the coaching ablities of the Spurs equal the talent on he floor. Pop is in the elite of NBA coaches now. They are just healthy enough finally to show the 3 different teams they have with their rotaion. IMO and everyones know what opinions are like. LOL

That may be true, however, the Pepsi Center is one of the hardest places to play in the NBA. The crowds are loud and intimidating, and the altitude is tough to deal with. I expect San Antonio to get at least 1 in Denver though.

Once Devin Brown is back for good, I think the Spurs will start playing the way we're used to seeing them play. Devin's is huge off the bench, so if we get him against Seattle, that would be great.

The quicker the Spurs beat the band of thughs known as the Nuggets, the better for the rest of the teams in the playoffs.

The Spurs look like a juggernaut. I can't wait to watch them tonight against the nothing to lose Nuggets. It will be a battle.

    kingrex,
You're Mavs stomped a mud hole in the Rocket's last night. With Mavs/Suns series most of the games are going to be a run a gun type of game, resembling the ABA days. I'll reserve my comments about if and when the Spurs/Mavs end up meeting. I'll let the Mavs fans enjoy their day in the spotlight.
Be assured the last meeting where the Mavs kicked the Spurs butt won't happen to that degree again. Best thing the Mavs have going for them if they meet the Spurs, is Coach AJ, he knows what kind of D San Antonio will bring to slow it down to a grind it out half court game. Spurs overall are at about 95% now, T.D. is very close to 100% healthy, thier bench I feel is the best in the league. All Spurs fans love AJ, I think everyone in San Antonio is happy for AJ, especially Pop. Good luck.

JT</div>Why do monsters have to be on a track?

I mean, if you said the Spurs train is back on track, I would understand. But monsters don't require tracks to get around.

Monster = Generally a huge predator/ hunting animal. = SPURS in pursuit of NBA title # 3
Track/Tracking= in pursuit/hunting a victim from scent or tracks that were left by victim being pursued. = Spurs versatilty to play half court game or up tempo, run and gun game. In general, to adjust to opposition/victim and def-eat them. How's that?

Trains go choo-choo, woo-woo you door knob! [IMG]
