Some of you may think this is a joke but with all the knowlege of DYC I thought we would be able to name 1000 different players and say something about the player, I will start . 1. Obafami Martins, A really good young nigerian striker who will be one of the best strikers in england in a few years, had high expections of him at Inter and am cluessless why they let him go.
2. Mark Viduka, a classy Australian striker who has been considered one of the best forwards in the game to hold up the ball and play it off to his teammates or even take it himself to score goals whoever he played for.
3. David Beckham, probably one of the best right midfielders in the world, he can give in the perfect cross from anywhere in the pitch and he is a dead ball expert. Madrid should of done more to make him stay and England should never have doubted him.
4. Steven Gerrard, one of the most versatile midfielders in the world. He can play defensive or attacking midfield. He has the ability to turn a game on its head within a blink of an eye. He is the Ultimate midfielder.
5. Archie Thompson, a forward who holds the world record for most goals in an international match with 13 and in the A-League Grand Final scored 5 goals in a 6-0 win. He has an eye for goal and can take on defenders on his own and score some quality goals.
6. Robin van Persie - an exciting new up and coming star who will make it big when he gets older and more used to the game. He's already an exciting striker as it is and i can't wait till he is older and like he already does now, it will be good to see how much he will resemble dennis bergkamp..
7. Mark Schwarzer - a veteran goalkeeper who has played for Middlesbrough for 10 years. He is a great shot stopper who has his brilliant days where nothing gets passed him but can sometimes get brain explosions and let in some simple goals. Definitely Australia's best goalkeeper in recent times.
8. Micah Richards - Immense talent. He deserves to go to a bigger club than Citeh to really take his already-impressive game to the next level and beyond. Will become a leading star for England within 5 years.
9. Lionel Messi - What can i say? Amazing dribbling abilities to take on anyone. He is 19 years old and has a good 15 years ahead of him, and he is already world class? I can see him being the best player ever. With all the time he has to improve and his current ability is world class! He plays for Barcelona and Argentina and is rated around £80 Million!
10. Kevin Muscat - A former right-back converted midfielder who played as a right-back in the Premiership and was known as one of the hardest men in the league, his career in the top-flight marred by controversies and complaints against him. Now a captain of the Champions of Australia, Melbourne Victory, the controversies have followed him home, but still has a lot of class and was an integral part of the Victory's campaign.
11. Frank Lampard - More of a midfielder that scores goals. Apart from that, quite lazy and can't tackle which was proven against Brazil.
12. Ronaldinho - One of the best players in the world who, even in a team of stars at Barca, can change the match on his own just with a piece of brilliance and he has many of those. He didn't shine at the World Cup like many predicted and many people thought he wasn't the same during this season, but he is still class and he'll come back even better.
13. Kaka - Best player in the world at the moment. Reads what people will do and has amazing vision, his touch and kicking is suberb and he is strong and quick too. Although he don't get back and defend much and he can score goals galore!
14. Gennaro Gattuso, one of the best and fierciest midfielders in the world today. His strength and determination win him balls and challenges and can make his presence felt. Great at firing up his team mates.
15 - David James Rocky start to his fotoball career with mistakes that has given him the name "Calamity James". Has done brilliant with Portsmouth and is key to a rock solid defence. - SMT
16. Park Ji-Sung - One word can sum up the little Korean gem: Tireless. He'll run his heart out for 90 minutes. His finishing is poor but his energy late in the game against tired wing backs more than makes up for it. A very naive, simple approach to the game which is refreshing in this age of overly-technical wing play.
17 - Robbie Savage - dubbed 'The Welsh Firebrand', a tireless and unrelentingly hard working player. Isn't really known for being particularly skillful, or indeed having a great vision, but has a work rate matched by very few other players and lifts moral.
18. Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink He is the biggest name in football scores when it is really need, good powerful force in the air.
<u>Thierry Henry</u>-Arsenal and premiership ledgend. No doubt the best foreigner ever to grace te premiership in the past years. A great captain for the club and will remain forever loyal
Clarence Seedorf The AC Milan midfielder has enjoyed football at both club and international level, has great pace and can pick out the perfect cross. Along with one of these if he fancies it: <div><object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/poPo3YjwIfc&"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/poPo3YjwIfc&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350" /></embed></object></div> - SMT
