    There is a flip side to that complaint. Look at it this way - this is the last chance you'll have to learn about that stuff - future employers won't give you the time to pursue non-applied knowledge. The things you learn now will be forever useful in cocktail party conversations and internet arguments. You just have to stop thinking of it as job related.

    You know I realized today I haven't typed in the other message board in my address bar in a long time, probably the longest I've gone in years (not counting vacations). Feels kind of weird.

    I've been gone hours and then right when I get back he is talkin about oil refineries in washington. It just doesn't stop. Sometimes he brings a girl over but she is some white trash girl who spent like 4 years in juvie and doesn't understand the concept of whispering when other people are sleeping (me).

    ever since summer, every nightlife place has been DEAD. Went to Joseph's in Hollywood...DEAD...then down to Malibu at the Hideout....ok...then Viceroy in Santa Monica....DEAD as I've ever seen it. I was really really hammered off Green Label and Makers Mark. it was a fun random night though....better than Thursday night in Hermosa.

    tonight, its off to Manhattan Beach I think!
