Jones is as good a prospect as there is in MMA right now. Such a fluid, dynamic fighter. A win here should set him up for a title eliminator match with a high ranking LHW like Machida.

With Shogun out for a while I'd like to see Rashad fight Jones(if he wins vs Matyushenko), both good wrestlers but with different styles and while Rashad has quick hands I think Jones diverse standup would make him a threat. Have Rampage fight Machida(both coming off losses to highly ranked LHWs) and if Shogun is out long enough have the winners fight each other to get a clear #1 contender.

The Gomi stoppage was completely justified and Griffin acted like a child by not congratulating him.

Howard looked good but obviously his wrestling isn't.

Okami did more than enough to win his fight and it was no surprise that Cecil Peoples was the judge that disagreed. He needs to go. He seems to go the other way just for the sake of disagreeing--he is a bitter and idiotic man.

Great to see two legends involved in the show: John McCarthy and Judo Gene LeBell.

The Jones/Matyushenko stoppage was premature but supposedly Vlady verbally tapped out, so no issue there if true. He wasn't getting out of that position and Jones wasn't going to stop. Hopefully Roy Nelson was watching--that's how you finish a fight in the mounted crucifix.

Pretty good show. I think Versus does a better job than Spike.
