A lot of people point to the Travis Lutter fight in an effort to claim that Silva's wrestling is weak and he can be controlled on the ground. I'm sure this is what Sonnen is hoping for. However Silva was injured in that fight and since then has shown some serious TDD against Marquardt and Henderson.

Also I just don't think Sonnen is the guy to do it.

Also, I'm glad this PPV isn't until August. My wallet is hurting from all the PPVs lately. The UFC should have a season pass. Even if it was $500, I'd pay it gladly as the UFC is costing me like $1000 with the 18 or so PPVs they put on per annum.

I think Silva will win via KO. Sonnen would need to go for the take down to be able to get to his comfort zone and Silva would counter with a vicious KO especially after all the talk by Sonnen. Silva is most motivated when he faces a challenge, his challenge now is to shut Sonnen up.

If Sonnen would have just kept the trash talking to Silva, I think Anderson would just toy with him and test Dana's hand and see if Dana would really cut him...but Sonnen branched out and talked shit about Wandy, Blackhouse, Nog's, Ed Soares, and more...I think Silva puts him to pasture. If he doesn't though and just fucks with him, I wouldn't be surprised. You never know what to expect.

Guys like him and Anthony Johnson just need to be more professional. They can make weight, they just try to push it too far. Supposedly Alves walks around at 210 and AJ at 230. They need to get down to 190 or so and say there all the time.
