Game has started and the Cavs hold a 55-50 lead at halftime. LeBron leads the Cavs in scoring with 15. Gooden has added 12 and Big Z has 11. Walker has 17 to lead the Hakws in scoring. I say just keep feeding it to Big Z because Ekezie obviously can't stop him. I'd also like to see more of Pavlovic shooting the rock, but all that matters is if we can come away with a win... I'm trying to get this Cavs Forum rolling with some topics even though I'm not too big of an NBA fan like I am college fan...haha
Cavs won 111-89. Big Z got 18 points, four blocks and 13 boards (12 offensive, franchise record), Gooden 19, 3 and 11, James 28 points, Pavlovic and McInnes both got 11 points, but McInnes got 11 assists. The coaching staff were obviously confident. Diop played 16 minutes and got 6 points at 50% shooting, four blocks and 8 boards and only Williams didn't play. First time they've had 30 wins before All-Star Weekend for about 12 seasons
This team just meshes so well and if someone has a bad game there is another player to pick up the slack. Big Z is having a terrific year hence the All-Star selection, Gooden is always a threat and LeBron is the very talented glue to put this all together. I hope they keep this nucleus because they are doing wonderful things over in Cleveland. Although it was only against a struggling Atlanta team, a win is a win and for once the Cavaliers are doing a lot of it!!!
