Nope I didn't watch it. Might catch it on youtube or something.

Can you give me a small summary on it?

If it's about those 2012 superstitions then I probably didn't hear about it, and still believe it's just superstitions.

No it was not 2012 superstitions...

It was a list of 8 things that could possibly end humanity and the list was developed by scientests. The #1 reason was global warming.

    It really opened my eyes...

I think I saw something like that, but I'm not completely sure if it was what you saw. I saw it on the discovery channel, and they were talking about ways life on earth could end. I saw it a while back so I dont remember most of it, but some of the reasons were nuclear war, global warming (as Air Fresh stated), lack of oil (no heat, electricity, ect), meteor strikes earth, and something about the earth getting too close to the sun. What were some other reasons Air Fresh?

    the ones I saw were

1- Global Warming ( the amount of CO2 is increasing from industry ect causing the earth to warm and melt ice ect, which would cause major flooding in major area of the world

2- Nuclear war- they said something about earth has enough nuclear weapons to kill 8 billion people and there are 6 billion people on earth, and that it could only take an accident for a weapon to get launched and destroy humanity

3- Disease or sickness, pandemic such as the Bird Flu and virsues that could get into the wrong hands and be replicated and kill mases of people

4- huge Asteroid- you get the gist of that, you can't blow it up like in the movies, it would cause more damage. A theory is that if an asteroid ever does head are way they might be able to use machinery to knock it off its course, but there isnt even a blueprint for that yet.

there are 3 or 4 others I missed (black holes-they can actually roam, volcanoes, artifical intelligance one day will be smarter than humnans?) if you go to abcnews.com you then to 20/20 you can read the Hawking interview, that dude is a genius and he explains it best, our greatest threat is ourselves.

I'd seen something like this before somewhere, I think on discovery channel, but I checked the abc website and stuff, and it's really interesting. The super volcano thing is quite intriguing as well, as one is supposed to erupt every
600,000 years or so and it's been 630,000 since the last one so we could be due for one at anytime.

The coolest one were the Gamma Ray Bursts and the Moving Black Holes.

What a way to die, eh?
