I'm counting down the hours, nervous and pumped as hell at the same time. I believe the lottery coverage starts at 7:30 ET, but they probably won't announce anything until around 7:50, which is when I will begin to watch it.

To be completely honest, I would prefer the second pick to the first. Some may find that ridiculous, but I don't want to deal with the problem of dealing a guy like Rubio if we got #1. I would rather just get out of there with Turner, and have a Rubio/Turner backcourt in a year.

But, with that said, our luck tells me that getting either one of those picks is out of the question, as our team has never finished better than third in the lottery. Hopefully this means we're due...dammit I'm rambling, GO WOLVES!!

All I want is the W's to stay in the top 4. Wall, Turner, Favors, Cousins = money. There's a drop off in talent after that.

I really hope the Warriors get their house in order prior to making a selection.

Let's go Warriors for #1! I'll be happy as long as an Eastern Conference team doesn't land the first pick.

Seems unlikely. I think getting the top pick would actually make an ownership transaction go much faster but I don't see that happening. I don't think there will be new ownership by the draft.

Don't think its that big of a deal if we're inside the top 4 though. The top 4 are obvious picks, after that the next several prospects are up for debate. I trust Nellie/Riley in the draft.

Why do you want the W's to win the lotto Mr. J? I feel like Tim- getting the top pick just makes things difficult for the team. Do we give up on Curry and take Wall? Keep both? Trade the pick? Its less of a headache to get a lower pick and not have that problem lol.

Run, if the Warriors get the #1 pick it gives them more options to improve the team. Whether it's selecting Wall or trading down etc.

The best case would be for them to get the top pick though.

Should they keep Wall if they get #1?

Absolutely. He's the best player in the draft bar none and you have to at least see if he can co-exist with Curry.

Its a good thing if we get the top pick. Its a good problem to have as they say. I would probably lean toward running with Wall and Curry as well. If anyone can legitimately attempt the two PG offense its Nellie. The fact that both Curry and Wall can score (in addition to being great passers) oughta help as well and Wall is about 6'4 right? Not to mention I think it would help the sale of the W's.

But then you have to dump Monta.

In any event we're not getting the top pick. I just want to be somewhere in the top 4!

Maybe they can sell Monta on coming off the bench?

I really hope the W's don't get the #1 pick, there's no way they will come out ahead in that deal. Curry looks like he'll be an amazing PG, but I don't think he's that great as a SG prospect. Wall wouldn't be considered the top prospect in the draft if he were a 2. Really, Monta is the best 2 on the roster and he'll probably be the one to go if they end up taking Wall.

I'm praying for the 2nd pick and start Curry/Monta/Turner.

If they get 3 or 4 I'm not sure who I'd prefer then to take. Taking Cousins means giving up on Beans and taking Favors means either playing Randolph at 3 or having him come off the bench and getting rid of Wright.

He's a 26 PPG scorer, so I doubt it. But if they do land Wall it will certainly be the best three-guard rotation in the league.

I wonder what Minnesota will do if they land Wall. Rubio/Wall/Flynn - who's staying?

Raptors would have the same problem Jose/Jack/Wall?

If the TWolves get the #1 pick then you have to be happy as a Knick fan because I'd imagine the rights to Rubio would be on the table. I have no idea what the Knicks could offer for him, but I know they want him badly.

Saw something about that - They love Rubio, so he isn't going anywhere. They said they'd either trade Flynn or go with Evan Turner.

Interesting. If the T-wolves get the #1, that would be an interesting team

They might love Rubio, but I don't think the feeling is mutual.

This is getting real interesting. Wizards, 76ers, and Nets. All in the East, unfortunately.

If the Wizards don't select Wall because of Arenas they shouldn't be an NBA franchise.
