The thinking here is to decide who the Blazers would pick at the currently-polled spot. Pick based on the current roster, even if it's unrealistic that the team could move up without making changes. If the guy you'd prefer isn't listed, vote for "other" and comment on who you'd pick. Ideally I'll change the options, although I don't anticipate too many "others" winning. I plan on having each pick up for a day or two. Ideally, we'll end up with the community's "top 11" list, in order of preference, just in time for the draft on June 28. Previous picks: 1: Anthony Davis 2: Thomas Robinson 3: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist 4. Andre Drummond 5. Bradley Beal 6. Damian Lillard
Here's one reason I want to move up or back...after I chose Barnes, there's no one else on this list I'd want at 11, much less 7.
I'm going with Sullinger here. I know it's not the popular vote, but I think he'll end up being more successful than Barnes.
He might, but you think he'd be more successful for US than Barnes? I mean, Kyrie Irving wouldn't have been ROY last year if he would've been drafted by the Spurs or Suns or Clips or Bullets. He wouldn't have seen the floor. If we get Sullinger he's probably going to be abused on D and not get enough touches on O to make it worth the while. I could see him doing well in CHA next to Biyambo, or in OKC, or next to Dwight Howard (wherever he goes).
In a landslide. I can't vote for Barnes here because it's just so ridiculous that Lillard went #6 over him. Barnes at #7, reallly?!
I would consider taking Barnes over MKG. He has a realistic chance of being the best player in the entire draft.
