With the Timbers 2012 season already in shambles, its probably pretty clear that they will get the top pick. I think the timbers need to be improved on the mid fielder position and then a forward?

Midfielder Midfielder and Midfielder. We have a bunch of inconsistent Wing Play and Chara.

I think we are good with Forward with Boyd, Mwanga, Fucito, Nagbe (alternates between MF and F), Valencia (next year), Rincon, and Richards, I'd be fine with consolidating Forward into a good Center Mid.

I still think Boyd is overpaid for his skills and Jewsbury seems to steal the show on performance, interviews and goals.

I think the team should keep Smith. Smith setup both goals for the timbers vs Toronto, once with the cornerkick and the other when he was attacking the left side, shot a pass across to Nagbe.
