I'd love to add Demare Carroll but others that are intriguing:
    Al Jefferson
    Greg Monroe
    Draymond Green
    Corey Brewer
    Deandre Jordan
    Marc Gasol
    Enis Canter-restricted

I don't think we could pull off Gasol. If we lose Aldridge and Lopez, we need to add a post scorer and power player. How much money would we have for free agency if we lose those two and Afflalo? I like Afflalo but man, what a disappointment that trade appears to be right now.

Jefferson, Monroe and Kanter are guys I'd likely avoid. Not much defense between the three.

Greg Monroe is a bruiser in the post and averages a double double. He also gets some good assists for a big. I really like his ceiling.

Al Jefferson is just a pump-fake machine that will further gum up this already stagnant Blazer offense. Avoid at all costs.

    Brewer would be great.

Dellavedova (RFA) would be an under-the-radar move. He showed flashes this year - big PG @ 6'4"

If I had to choose from the list above, I would pick Danny Green, Corey Brewer (which I doubt is available), Gasol (Obviously but we know this is a pipe dream), Roy Hibbert (I think is actually very available), Brook Lopez (Lets get the 1-2 twin punch!)

I think Hibbert would be a big get and might actually be less expensive than last go around. I love the fit/feel of Shumpert next to Dame. We need a slasher.

I doubt Houston lets Brewer go and I doubt Brewer will want to leave. He has a good thing going in Houston and they took a chance on him. I see Brewer as a pretty loyal guy and it helps Houston is going to make it to the second round to boot.

Gerald Green is nick named "My Bad" because he has amazing skills, but the brain between his ears forces him to make some seriously questionable decisions.

We need smart, heady players. I actually think Hibbert is smart in a defensive way, so I am in total support with obtaining him. I would think Brewer is heady, just not obtainable.

Now Danny Green maybe the player that we could really steal this summer. He has the range to hit the jumper (three) and is a very solid perimeter defender. I would actually like to go with a 1-2 punch of Batum and Green. Maybe even use Crabbe and another player to do a sign and trade for Green. Lets keep SAS on our good side! ;)

I think we could really have a chance on him because of Leonard. Spurs need Leonard more than Green and many suspect he's getting max.

Leonard is getting max (if not from SAS then from someone else) but how do we get Green without a trade? I don't see SAS wanting what we would be ok with giving up. Can't give up a pick right now (we already dealt next years). I wouldn't trade Leonard or CJ at this point so just Crabbe? That is not near enough.

Green is an unrestricted free agent right? I was thinking sign and trade, so they could get a cheap player in Crabbe. We could just as easily offer a contract

Maybe that interests them but I doubt it. They will probably just want him back and if he goes too high that they would sign and trade him then I think they would get better offers.
And yes he is Unrestricted but we can only offer MLE-type money.

Danny Green is gettable IMO as he had kept improving, he's now a very good defender and 3pt shooter - avg 42% for his career! He is now 27 and could be a very nice replacement for Wes/Afflalo or an excellent addition, his cost will be interesting

    Saying this for years
Carroll is the guy that I usually think of when I consider moving Batum, which I think is the most logical move to get better. However, Batum is the primary facilitator in this offense, and, while I think Carroll is as good or better than Nic in most other respects, that is the one area where he seems to be well behind.

I'd take him to replace Blake.
