For the record, in most cases when a player is traded it makes him ineligible for the Super Max. Kyrie can't get it with Boston or any team he's traded to. The same applies to Kawhi. AD would sacrifice his Super Max if traded too.

Vonleh was better than Aminu. Vonleh only started when Aminu was injured (and even then, he was only a token starter).
If we got another PF that was better than Aminu I think Terry would actually bump Aminu into the starting SF role rather than into a bench role. Maybe not, but that's the feeling I get.

Good point I did like Vonleh better as well. But I am not sure he was head and shoulders better than Aminu. I still think Terry is rational enough to play someone like KLove over Aminu. Terry likes to spread the floor out as much as possible, which does give Nurk more room to operate, and is probably why he does not start Collins next to him until he gets his 3 point shot improved.

Works for me! The Rockets would obviously have to throw in a 1st rounder to the Bulls but I think they would do this trade. The only wild cards are if Melo would choose to come here and if the Bulls want to add salary for next year in exchange for that 1st rounder (Knight's contract is messed up on ESPN, he has 1 more year).

Did not know that. Ya no way Bulls do this without compensation.

Another similar candidate is Cleveland instead of Chicago, and Tristan Thompson going Houston's way.

I'm guessing the Rockets don't want to add salary beyond this year with how much they are paying Harden/Paul/Capela. It's been rumored for months that they would give their 1st rounder to anyone who would take Knight for an expiring though.

No he wasn't. Vonleh couldn't shoot a lick when he was here (scared to miss yips) and here was getting exposed in pick and roll defense. Hated to see him go but even your Aminu hate doesn't make Vonleh a clear upgrade.
